Hi guys, is it cheaper to go to those normal ped clinic than to private hospital?

Thinking of long run the cost and also stick with a preferred ped. I find that private hospital the Q is too long n also expensive...

Yes, generally paed clinics will be cheaper than private hospitals. Plus less administration fees and medicines are also cheaper. Waiting time also shorter in clinics.

My daughter used to go Dr. Lim Minn Kang from Gleaneagle Medical Centre. He is a very experience & caring pediatrician doctor i ever see. Usually Ill go to normal pediatrician for injection or normal sick. If encounter serious sickness then ill go to Dr. Lim. U can read alot of his forum at goggle.

I would recommend Dr. Mary Peters from Assunta Hospital. I feel comfortable with her because she doesn't simply give medication and will actually explain the cause and also give advice.

I have good experience with Klinik Kanak-Kanak Kwan (21 Jalan Raja Haroun, Kajang 43000 Selangor) Tel: 0387363118

Dr Hoh is an experienced paediatrician - caring and friendly to both parents and the children. Prices are reasonable and also helps that the clinic is open on Saturdays and Sundays for half-day.

Don't think there are 24-hour child specialists apart from govt hospitals where they have specialists on-call for emergency and admission. Also, if accident or emergency case, all hospitals have Accident & Emergency (A&E) department which is open 24 hours.
