I present to you the most underrated Japanese Band ever internationally.
At least not in Japan, everytime their new single is out, it will always sat on the oricon chart. Their songs also have been used many times as theme songs for movies, dramas even game. Maybe they dont like to be exposed internationally. Their songs is mainly slow rock type, and mainly use lower tune. BUMP OF CHICKEN Tentai Kansoku Sailing Day Sharin No Uta (I love this songs, cant stop listening Tomodachi No Uta (Used in Doraemon movies) Zero (used in Final Fantasy Type-o games) Firefly (their latest single and featured in Jdrama Iki mo Dekinai Natsu) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xvd4tb_bump-of-chicken-firefly_music ほんとのほんと (Second track from Firefly single, relax and calm song) http://nicoviewer.net/nm18856054 Hana no Na (Used in Always, Sunset on the Third Street 2 2007 movie) GOOD LUCK (Used in Always, Sunset on the Third Street 3 2012 movie, will review this movie series later http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xnsnu7_bump-good-luck_webcam |

QUOTE(masterelr @ Jan 28 2013, 01:03 PM) Yeah I used to be a fan of Bump Of Chicken back then but kinda lost track for the past seven years and haven't really been hearing much about them anymore. They were huge in 2004 when their Yggdrasil album was out. Oh great. I thought I am alone all this time. 7 years? It make me feel so young. Yeah, their Yggdrasil album is the most listen album for me so far. Sailing Day Sharin No Uta Snow Smile Lem Argh, cant stop listening to their songs now. QUOTE(JoshCarter @ Jan 28 2013, 02:27 PM) Me! Me! Me!This is the best pieces of music from him so far in my opinion. |
