I believe that there's no such thing called switching.

You just need to apply the travel type card and cancel the current card before its anniversary date to avoid GST.

If I am not mistaken

Switching is possible with a condition (VISA to VISA, Master to Master and etc)

If you have already paid the RM50 GST, chance is you do not need to pay for another 1 year even though you switch card in between.

I have enquire this in Citibank last time and the fact I never did it was because I was holding a VISA and I wanted a Citibank CB Platinum which only MasterCard was available then.

By the way, would also like to enquire about the Citibank Platinum card

http://www.citibank.com.my/english/credit-...rCode=MYCCLNPLC

Anybody using it and so far are they able to waive the annual fee @ RM600?

I see some benefits there such as extended warranty and free-entry to KLIA lounge...

Hope someone cares to share more about it.

Thanks

Citibank Platinum card is one of the easiest card to get RM600 AF waived. It is stated under the card Benefit that you need only 3 swipes within 60 days to get 1 year annual fee waived.

Thanks for the information.

How about the KLIA lounge? Is it only for 1 person or 2 persons will be allowed in 1 card?

Usually we would be accompanied by at least 1 person during travel hence the question.
