i read online that for the first 1000km, we not suppose to rev it up more den 3k rpm or drive fast fast, so that we can protect the engine and make it long lasting.
is this real? or only apply for older days car?
if like that den the first 1000km will be very very boring to me
Your CVT gearbox and mechanical components of engine is still very new and need sometime to "mold" and run efficiently, constantly running it high when very new is like asking a person who have not run for a very long time, then ask him to hit 1Km within 3 minutes. He might make it but there' might be miniscule damage done ie...muscle cramp, strain, even tearing of muscle if you're unlucky.is this real? or only apply for older days car?

Same with new engine and mechanical components, grinding the components surface to each other slowly will allow nooks and whatever to grind and "mold" to each other.....while grinding them too fast might increase chances of scratching them instead, still working, but efficiency might not be perfect anymore resulting in miniscule loss of long term performance.
