Thanks you for your wedding wishes.

After ECU & TCU software update, i feel that the fuel consumption is higher although the car is powerful, 1 fuel bar drop at 38KM, before update, the 1 fuel bar can go until 48KM for traffic jam and town drive.

Not sure what is your experience after the ECU & TCU software update.

An insider news, Preve GPS map update shall be available shortly.
Not sure of the availability date yet but it is on the way.

Apparently no cost involve yet as mentioned.
Pre-requiste for a dealer to perform the GPS map update is to have a Windows 7 PC + microSD card reader.

So it will come soon.
It shall be available at all Proton Edar service dealers.

fuel consumption is more or less the same for me after the ECU & TCU upgrade..still need to observe few more weeks though..but i think the fc will be lesser la especially in city drive as just a slight tap on the gas paddle will already move the car..unlike before

as for high speed..i think it's still easily reachable like before..able to do 190km/h with ~5k rpm..somemore havent fully step on the paddle yet

Yesterday send for power window claim but the sc do another ecu/tcu update again dont know why, my ecu/tcu already updated. Wasting my time time waiting there.

After ecu/tcu remap, when press pedal to 2k rpm from initial then release pedal like jerk and pull back your car. When press to 2k rpm, your car will pull to the front then st8 release pedal when reach 2k, like the car pull backwards. Is it normal?

And also, after change regulator and motor for my power windows, the noise came back again. Need change again?

Reflashing ecu/tcu now.

I went in and see them reflashing the software into my car. When i asked, the Proton mechanic said by Reflashing the ecu/tcu should not have any effect on top speed or FC. It just adjusting the gear ratio.

Ayam also not sure, now high with caffeine, I will test for a few days and see how it goes.

I may need to work this coming weekend, as my project "continue" after my wedding

I think i might be able to join u guy TT only after middle of Jan 2013, next year...

About the fuel consumption, let me further monitor and see how many KM can go with 1 full tank...

Will update you guy once i got the result...

BTW, i saw white lighther WWR 1XX7 preve last thursday when i passed Bukit Jalil last thursday evening...

Added on November 27, 2012, 3:18 pmI replaced my power window regulator from the recall campaign for TCU/ECU update, the power windows sound come back again after 1 week....

My car going to services may be next month, ill ask the service advisor see what can he do?

Service Advisor? They don't know anything de. Last time i go service to fix my rust issue, sa even ask me there is no solution for the rust. Ask technician or head better.

Just came back from a test ride in my car and they confirmed the gluk gluk sound at 80kmph came from the tyres.

And as for the dashboard vibration during hard acceleration, they said need to leave my car for one whole day for them to dismantle the whole dashboard and reinstall back. They need to use the two sided tapes provided by proton to stop the vibration.

Now they check the exhaust smoke smell in cabin.
