I replaced my power window regulator from the recall campaign for TCU/ECU update, the power windows sound come back again after 1 week.... 

My car going to services may be next month, ill ask the service advisor see what can he do?

Just called the service advisor at Maluri SC, he had pending my driver seat replacement for about 2 months, he told me that all of the water repellent seat for Preve also "Berbulu"....he said, change also not use....somemore, he said that vendor told him "no stock for preve seat" because all of their current stock also "berbulu"....no point to replace a new driver seat...

The new stock of driver seat is coming on next year...

   

Just came back from a test ride in my car and they confirmed the gluk gluk sound at 80kmph came from the tyres.

And as for the dashboard vibration during hard acceleration, they said need to leave my car for one whole day for them to dismantle the whole dashboard and reinstall back. They need to use the two sided tapes provided by proton to stop the vibration.

Now they check the exhaust smoke smell in cabin.

any of u , install front and rear camera ? what brand to buy ? need 1 to capture 'artist" who like to decorate ppl cars ...

And ya, make sure they flash the correct TCU version for your vehicle. There are reported that Saga FLX SE TCU being flashed into Preve b4.
It caused Preve to loose power on 120km/h and above, the car simply won't accelerate.

A simple ECU/TCU mapping will do.
I did my mapping twice

I remember he also misplaced it the day he received his Preve

It just so happened that the new updates for Preve and FLX SE were released almost the same time, hence the confusion.

That, and some technicians are boneheads.

Competent is the word. Make sure they flash the right update. Not saga or exora

hmm....i am wondering whether want to go to bukit dumbar edar sc to do ecu mapping again...

because he scare it is really not typo...scare the sc really update wrong ecu mapping file..

oh, if like that, for long term wise NGV definitely cheaper... as jams in kl worsen everyday...

my last tank was 15.5L/100km.    anyway what to do, rains everyday smart tunnel closed
