QUOTE(ryuken74 @ Nov 26 2012, 12:05 AM) imho, merc also will become like that if crash, dunno why people keep bombarding Proton Preve.... its simple. because it is local product, PROTON. When people see proton, they just keep sharing. When about other brands, just ignore and pm the TS to delete instead?during my 1st service at Damai Perdana, the SC keep insisting I install the magnatrap at RM68...I keep repeating no need.. the service package is recommended from Proton themselve or depends on individual SC? After ecu/tcu remap, when press pedal to 2k rpm from initial then release pedal like jerk and pull back your car. When press to 2k rpm, your car will pull to the front then st8 release pedal when reach 2k, like the car pull backwards. Is it normal?
And also, after change regulator and motor for my power windows, the noise came back again. Need change again? This post has been edited by edwinkbs: Nov 27 2012, 02:40 PM |

QUOTE(kiapreve @ Nov 27 2012, 03:46 PM) Just called the service advisor at Maluri SC, he had pending my driver seat replacement for about 2 months, he told me that all of the water repellent seat for Preve also "Berbulu"....he said, change also not use....somemore, he said that vendor told him "no stock for preve seat" because all of their current stock also "berbulu"....no point to replace a new driver seat... Oh yeah, recall for preve seat coming soon? The new stock of driver seat is coming on next year... Added on November 27, 2012, 3:51 pm QUOTE(rich8833 @ Nov 27 2012, 03:45 PM) Just came back from a test ride in my car and they confirmed the gluk gluk sound at 80kmph came from the tyres. Where you service your car? quite good. And as for the dashboard vibration during hard acceleration, they said need to leave my car for one whole day for them to dismantle the whole dashboard and reinstall back. They need to use the two sided tapes provided by proton to stop the vibration. Now they check the exhaust smoke smell in cabin. Anyway not sure if I want to let them dismantle the whole dashboard and reinstall back or not. Later stop vibration, all the rattling comes. Now my car no rattles so far. But vibration is also quite annoying. Not sure if I should go for it or not This post has been edited by edwinkbs: Nov 27 2012, 03:51 PM |

Everytime from initial cannot press till 2k rpm, will vibrate. Quite bad. After 50km/h then the vibration not that bad already but still visible.
Hopefully this can be fixed. Need to know their workmanship, because many technician "makan ular". |

Mine is premium. Not really serious, but tak selesa la. So have to control foot, not to rev until 2k rpm when below 40km/h. Because sometime at traffic didn't see green already kena horn. So need pedal faster then vibrate lo.

QUOTE(allenultra @ Nov 29 2012, 10:32 AM) I do have better FC though..... Mine are flashed with saga flx 1.6 but with preve tcu file. As arthur said earlier, its a typo.Perhaps give a few tank to really integrate into your car? And ya, make sure they flash the correct TCU version for your vehicle. There are reported that Saga FLX SE TCU being flashed into Preve b4. It caused Preve to loose power on 120km/h and above, the car simply won't accelerate. A simple ECU/TCU mapping will do. I did my mapping twice |

QUOTE(dares @ Nov 29 2012, 11:23 AM) "Jawbone" as in a RM400 mobile phone bluetooth earpiece brand So saga flx 1.6 is really a typo or what? I remember he also misplaced it the day he received his Preve Added on November 29, 2012, 11:25 am It just so happened that the new updates for Preve and FLX SE were released almost the same time, hence the confusion. That, and some technicians are boneheads. This post has been edited by edwinkbs: Nov 29 2012, 11:48 AM |

QUOTE(stargate8 @ Nov 30 2012, 02:37 PM) oh, if like that, for long term wise NGV definitely cheaper... as jams in kl worsen everyday... Yeah, they printed out the instruction of few hundred pages. Btw, I don't see any preve profile in the list. Maybe profile is a typo i guess. Not sure.my last tank was 15.5L/100km. Added on November 30, 2012, 2:38 pm seriously, technician have no idea which file to select correctly? end up we are the one to educate them? oh man, we pay for their salary still teach them how to select file, irony isn't it. |
