more than 10km per l in high traffic congestion? with 1300kg++, I doubt it.
I do think even Vios barely can do that.

No ESC, no auto wiper, no cruise control, no auto light, no side airbags, no GPS, no rear bootlid spoiler, no TURBO !!!

Why not?

If the oil is good enough, it won't too much contamination to the oil filter, thus longer lifespan for the parts.

Before it's too late, can any1 advices on the diff between exe n premium version (performance wise mainly the fc rather than those fancy item like auto sensor , push start button , spoiler etc ). FYI , i seldom out for long journey , mainly the car is use in town area of which always get trap in traffic congestion , slow down by traffic lights etc ... Your advices are much appreciated

i suggest go with CFE instead...
otherwise i will go for manual if planned for CPS as CPS itself still lack of power with auto...

i planned for CFE but driving around Klang Valley too as i like to play with paddle shift too... smile.gif

seriously..what's the big fuss about having leather seat..few days ago, my neighbour asked me what seat material is preve using, i told him fabric..and he pointed his merc leather seat and told me it's cracking..

yea..leather seat is classy..but do you think its easy to maintain? rolleyes.gif

and not to bad-mouth almera, but when i sit in it, the dashboard feels so plasticky..and the interior is nothing to shout about..only the exterior probably look nicer than dugong vios

In terms of fuel economy, the CVT-equipped Prevé Executive is rated to be the best of the lot sipping on only 5.8L/100km, whereas the manual transmission Executive drinks 0.4L more at 6.2L/100km and finally the Premium drinks 6.6L/100km

I got this from a website ...
Means Exe auto version better than Manual better than premium , in term of FC ....
Am i right ?

doubt is the weather issues...

i used with PU leather on my current myvi without any maintenance, no cracks or whatever for 6 years...
i guess i will wrap a cheap PU leather as well as it consider as part of "wear and tear" tongue.gif

Depend on your driving pattern anyway.

If you read the brochure, those FC was recorded at 90km/h constantly. Around 2000rpm, max torque kicks in.
How often you can maintain that figure?

You won't be able to save much from each tank? RM10?
Per month perhaps around RM50?
A year is RM600?

I would prefer a car that I enjoy driving more rather than the small saving in fuel. thumbup.gif

No idea bro. I usually go for the one that I can get easily, affordable and change on time. Its an enhanced Campro, not Lambo....I dun think I want to feed it with top range engine oil....Proton recommended Petronas anyway....unless certain brand can give me huge performance gain and good FC, which I doubt......
Never use fully syn b4, all the time semi. Change every 5k

I remember.....around RM170 to Rm180....
Just purchase the 4 litre.
Have to check again tomorrow, its generally cheaper than buying Petronas engine oil at any Proton Edar service centre.

No idea why but for us Suzuki, Suzuki Malaysia Automobile do get us a better offer than Proton though.....
*
Ya wor, so much cheaper le...proton SC charged RM218.xx shocking.gif

U sure?

As I know, for CFE variant, its either 2k rebates or 3 years free service.
Exe CVT and Manual? There are no rebates nor free service package. You sure your SA telling u the truth?

The extra discount after 2k, would come from the dealer themselves.

I actually whack 160km/h even before 1st service.

After 1st service, engine will be smoother, more refined, less "grinding" sound. Again that was b4 the ECU/TCU mapping.

With new ECU/TCU mapping, engine mounting fuel line hose MOD, turbo pressure house cable ties mod, the driving experience is seriously good NOW
*
hahahahaha....i whack 200km/h at 900 mileage...beh tahan the temptation tongue.gif
for the engine mounting...see the slide few times, then see the pictures post by lim eu bian only understand how to do it...but still...半桶水 only...not dare to do it...

@arthur,
EON sg pinang SC got 5w 30? Or need to buy outside and give them?
*

lower rating suitable for city drive, but not suitable for long distance...

Hi i ve just placed a deposit for my 1st car , preve exe CVT ...
I Have briefly go through some of the post in the forum ...
Can i conclude that the FC for preve is more than 10km per l, correct me if im wrong and the preve you guys mentioned included preve exe cvt ? For my understanding most of you are driving the premium version ...

My Preve Exec CVT clock at 9.8l/100km today (current mileage 871) , when I took my Preve on the first day 30min driving 25.6l/100km rclxub.gif
The FC will go down as your engine starts to run in...

I think you better go for the premium if your budget allow..more features and only pay slightly more downpayment...I don't think the 0.xx FC will have any significant impact on your monthly petrol bill..

Since you said you always trap in the traffic congestion (BUY PREMIUM!), be ready to accept the fact that the car will be slightly jerky (for my Exec) during low speed..read a lot comments saying that it is CVT issue..not sure whether the ECU/TCU can do something about this issue..

Are you a first time car owner? If yes, then can have more discount, that's what my SA told me..I think got more rebates for 1st time car owner..
