and now , in US ,rumors already leaked that you can be xbox 360 4gb + kinekt for only 150$ ( 470rm)

while i remember last year in msia around the new year, i went to lowyat , prices were higher by 100-150rm

Over here everything is about business. Over there they all get into the spirit and joy of the celebration. They want everyone to share the happiness. So one way to do this is to lower prices. Also a great opportunity to clear stock.

Over here the mentality of profit over everything is making it impossible to happen. They know demand will be higher, so put higher price or maintain existing price and they will make tons of profit. Even if Sony/MS/Nintendo make it a worldwide price drop, some sellers will find a way to make it not available to everyone.

Eg. The price drop is for new stock and its not arrive yet. All they have is old stock and its for the old price. When the new stock arrive, the promo is over and its back to old price. Unless its a permanent price drop. You know the drill.

LOL just ignore. Troll will be troll.

Anyway, yeah its a sad state of affairs where everything in US is so darn cheap (not to meantion Europe as well). Not just consoles but basically a lot and lot of stuff (at least those that are not Japan originated). Some more Black Friday & Cyber Monday are coming. Even if I buy direct from Amazon with shipping, still at least 20% - 30% cheaper than here.

But dont blame the retailers as they need to make margin. This is more from suppliers & manufacturers. Combination of both not enough economies of scale, and some other hidden agenda kept our retail prices high.

If I'm not mistaken Amazon has the best deals for Black Friday. Check it out drool.gif
http://blackfriday.com/

Too bad I dont have a US mailing address otherwise I know a few items I would need. As for power I have been using a step down transformer for Japanese electronics for 10 years and its still in great shape.
