Hi, I want to ask about the region locked. If i buy Witcher 3 now before it is locked and when they start to lock will the game become unplayable after i added to library?

One trader told me don't get it first because there is a very small chance even it is added to library the game might not be able to download or play the game. So I am quite confused.

there are cases where games bought from Russia are not playable even though you can successfully activate it and add it to library and most recent case are Thief. so it's a bit risky.

buying from other region is sometimes a gamble. either you end up with a playable game with cheap price or unplayable game and waste of money.

thanks memphiz. Yes this normally happens if buy from RU coz it is super cheap. I found a very good trader. He warn me about it. He asked me to not get the game because he told me he got it from RU. I asked him Skyrim: Legendary Edition and he asked me wait for 1 or 2 days the price may get lower. So yeah. good trader. I posted in a new topic.
