laugh.gif SC card itself i see not so much benefit. But always got this kind of new sign up things to attract new applicant..

ya, after few considerations still think that SC cards are good during new sign-up. upon then, should spend using cards like MBB2cards, Ocbc to get better cash rebates or points. Every new sign-up package is attractive. but not for existing customers. i wont if existing customer cancel their card, what's the duration of cooling period before they re-apply with SC plus eligible for new sign-up promotions

there is no need to wait for the Rm245 to be credited first, as long you are entitled for the RM300 cash back, ngam2 1 month from the initial Rm55 cashback date, you will get the Rm245  biggrin.gif

I've spend Rm300 doing shopping, in between those date, and got the Rm245 balance. Now thinking of cancelling the card in a month or two. Or just keep the card for a 2 years since the annual fee is waived for 2 years

seems like SCB card goodies are best utilized at the beginning. after finish, keep as spare or cancel.
how they get profit? keep attracting new customers: aiming for late payments / min payment customers?

If I'm not mistaken, there is a certain cap on the fuel rebate in total stated in the T&C, so once the limit has been reached, no rebate will be given. Correct me if i'm wrong

Petrol CashBack is capped at RM48 per month per customer for applications via the Bank’s branches or direct sales agencies. This CashBack is further subject to a maximum total Petrol CashBack of RM1,600,000 from13 February to 30 September 2013, across all the Bank’s customers in this Campaign.

that means, max amount of petrol to entitle 15% is RM320
