I got invitation by SCB to become preferred banking customer and I'm holding preferred world debit & credit now. Actually what are the benefits of becoming preferred banking customer beside the 1% unlimited cash back on debit card?

No priority counter service? No privilege parking? Then what's the point to sign up preferred membership?

Im existing customer of SCB. I have upgraded my gold visa to platinum visa and i have received the platinum card today via post. When i check my card statement online, i saw a cash back of RM55. After minus RM50 it left only RM5. SO am i entitled for the touch n go and 15% petrol cash back? Anyway my request for upgrading the card is through phone call to sales manager.

If i apply for the preferred world mastercard now,am i entitled to get the RM300 cash back? Must it be done online?

Yes, based on their T&C the promo was only for new customer. But I received the rm55 cash back. That's y I'm wondering if i would get the touch n go and petrol cash back after this.

I checked through SCB terms n condition just now and I found out only rm55 cash back will be given the card application is through branches/bank agent. Rm300 will be given when apply online.

So I think I am only entitled for the rm55 cash back since I requested for upgrading my old card through sales manager. I will try to apply preferred world master crd later through online and see whether can I get the rm300.
