I believe this is because of below :

Effective 2 January 2013, the following product features will be discontinued:

1. Complimentary travel insurance

3. FREE travel insurance coverage of up to RM700,000

4. Purchase Protection Plan for up to RM36, 000 per event against
theft/loss for 30 days.

5. FREE Access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge

6. 0.5% cash back on all retail transactions

For me, it was like taken out ALL the benefits in one short and replace with RM 100 cash back to retain the customer.

My friend hold 7 cards from SCB, out of 4 already given cash back RM 100 each automatically.

My friend only know initially will get RM 150 after GST, then balance RM 100 will be credit to your account after 2 months.

Surprisingly another RM 100 has been given last month automatically. Can use it for petrol, The Ship, Sushi King etc. Damn syok

What the, my friend's apply supp card x 3 pcs , all approved and she got RM 900 cash back in total. I thought only RM 300 cash back max as stated in their website?

Not me, is my friend. Apply 7 cards and get approved (300 x 7 = 2100), then SCB will give you another 100 CB x 7 (RM 700), finally apply for Supp card (300 x 3 = RM 900)....
