I received 2 sms saying my card is en-route. I just noticed that each sms mentioned different ending number.
Are they sending me 2 cards? Normal for SCB?

QUOTE(ronnie @ May 8 2013, 11:45 AM) Possibly 2 cards is on its way.... you can check from SCB Online Banking (if you have access) No online banking with SCB atm. Nevermind, I'll just wait & see what they send me QUOTE(Human Nature @ May 8 2013, 11:46 AM) The question is, you applied for 1 or 2 cards? If I applied 2 cards then I wouldn't be bemused, haha Was approached by the PS sales team & I just submitted for fun. They did the form though.

QUOTE(nothingz @ May 17 2013, 10:42 AM) I have received an ebanking temporary password through sms for my new card. So the login id is my card number? Any idea from those who got their cards recently? Got mine from the CS when I activated the card. The SMS password came a minute after. I think it's not card number as it's only 12 digits.

Just want to share with fellow new SCB cardholders on multiple cards payment. Apparently auto-apportionment is not set by default. CODE We note your enquiry with regards to Credit Card payment.
Please be advised that you will have to arrange for separate payment.
Alternatively, you may set up payment apportionment if you are a full paymaster.
The payments received will be auto-apportioned to the card accounts based on the following pre-defined order:-
(i) Minimum amount based on number of days past due;
(ii) Current minimum amount due on the principal card account;
(iii) Current minimum amount due on the supplementary card account;
(iv) Current latest billing statement outstanding on the principal card account (difference between current outstanding less current minimum payment due);
(v) Current latest billing statement outstanding on the supplementary card account;
(vi) Transactions made to the principal card account not captured in the current billing statement;
(vii) Transactions made to the supplementary card account not captured in the current billing statement;
(viii) Remaining balances (if any) after 1 to 7 above, the amount will be credited to the principal card account.
Please confirm should you still wish to proceed with the request for our further action.
