QUOTE(simplesmile @ Feb 1 2013, 08:34 AM) Last week Friday I bought an Apple product from the Malaysia online store. There was a discount for the iPad 2, selling at RM1,078. I was given an e-invoice of RM1,078. Today when I view my credit card statement online, I saw the amount debited as RM1,086.62. Is this normal? I tried to find a contact email to dispute the billing, but could not find any. I tried calling the Apple support number, but the menu options have nothing to do with billing. How can I go about filing for this dispute? You can dispute the charges... Sorry You were charged Cross-Border Charge approx 0.67% because Apple Store Payment Gateway is in Singapore (not Malaysia) You can refer to http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2519936This post has been edited by ronnie: Feb 1 2013, 08:39 AM

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Feb 1 2013, 11:19 AM) I don't understand what this fee is for. I am paying extra for no additional benefit to me. It costs me 1.18% extra. Benefit: buy Apple products from Singapore using MYR If you complain hard enough, Apple Store "may" refund to you. This cross-border charge is by the bank (not Apple imposing the fee)

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Feb 1 2013, 06:59 PM) Did you mean "rebate" and not "refund"? Means we get back the Cross Border Cahrge from Apple... if you are lucky.

QUOTE(kongfupandas @ Feb 3 2013, 07:48 PM) I just applied Business Visa Platinum and Master platinum on November. I already get is RM300 cash back + rm55 cash back + 15% petrol discount + Smartag. any one get any idea why Standard Chartered still giving me cash back stated " 30 Cash Back" RM 100(Dec 2012) for Master Platinum and RM140(Jan 2013) for Business Visa Platinum? Is that promotion or what? That's RM 595 cash back in total ???!!! So jealous. Another non-Standard issue from SCB.

QUOTE(ck23 @ Mar 6 2013, 09:31 AM) http://www.standardchartered.com.my/person...aign/index.htmlLatest promotion. Pay bills via credit card. 6 bills to win an iPhone 5. If not win, you earn nothing. Worth to try? Each transaction (Bill Payment or Fund Transfer) of RM100 gets 1 entry.... you don't need 6 bills

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 24 2013, 01:08 PM) For new cards, the default is eStatement. They even converted my paper statement to eStatement when I applied for new cards, and I have to send a request to revert back to paper statement. No charges for my case. My case was inverted.... By getting new CC from SCB deactivated my eStatement into Paper statement. I had to call the CS 2 times to get it changed back to eStatement.

QUOTE(scpt @ Apr 11 2013, 11:35 PM) Just when I was about to call CS to enquire why I haven't got my Jan & Feb petrol rebate, checked online this morning and they finally gave me the rebates. Even better is that they gave me my Nov & Dec rebates, again! So I got 2x rebates for Nov & Dec Hopefully they won't reverse the transaction As usual we love SCB for such wonderful mistakes !!!!

QUOTE(seydee @ Apr 14 2013, 10:14 PM) Can't manage to find info on 0% BT for SCB? Is it subject to Bank offer? All I mange to find is the 1.99% for new card holder who submit for BT within 30 Days from approval. Only for "selected" customers only... I did receive the same 0% BT offer from 2 different Price Solution agents.
