Come February I'm cancelling ALL my SCB cards and hoping for retention for another 6-month period.

Anyone do any BT with SCB recently?

I received SMS on 31/12 said my BT is success

I check my Maybank account today, still no payment masuk, is this normal?

I already gave them a call last time. They said have to wait around 3 days for CS to call back and cinfirm the closing of my credit card account.
Waited but nobody calls. So I fax them a letter.

Just now I called, I have successfully closed and cancelled my CC. wink.gif

I think it's difficult to aspect anything from them with the massive promotion SC had right now. They forget about us eventually.
Anyway, if you cancel at branch. It will be happened instantly. But full cancellation can only be done after 5 working days.
(Full cancelation means the records will be cleared in on- line acc as well)

They did ask me to stay. I insisted on cancelling it. My account was closed on Dec 28th, and I received the first and final statement last few days.

I just saw this new terms in their website. Does this mean no more free entry to Plaza Premium Lounge? If like that better cancel it

Just receive SMS my application had approved, but I havent get the card yet.
Plan to use this card for 6month due to petrol rebate since my petrol consumption accounted to RM400+ per month. After that may cancel it if the benefit is not so attractive.
May I know what the criteria of the annual fee waiver?
