well, planning to stay at bukit bintang area for a few nights, any good hotels to recommend?

hotel RAE, yy38, alpha genesis

all 3 is new one, so condition shud all be ok . i just stay at yy38 last weekend, rm220 for family room (1 queen 1 single)

if just 1 room for 2 person, rm140 got liao

Hotel RAE more expansive than yy38 if not mistaken, but look more classy

all 3 of them located at tengkat tong shin, behind jalan alor, all goodie food there

but quite far abit if walk to pavillion la....if want nearer hotel agora la, hotel nova la....but seems old liao those

Any exact location of Rae & YY38? Wanna add them to malfreemaps..Currently no such hotels inside the maps..BTW, saw Shuttle Inn beside Watson/ Mc D opposite Yayasan Selangor building last weekend..

between stayorange and apple inn, which 1 u guys will recommend?

last week saw sun inns at puchong opposite IOI mall...
just after the mobil on the way to putrajaya one...
if new must be ok to stay...
but at sunway one...
not recommended cause nampak dari luar pown sudah kotor...
once stay sun inns at ipoh near tambun...
all ok...clean bed...
the price for 1 bed is RM 70 on weekdays...
that day i stay there...
fully booked...

Any place to recommend for a day use of a decent hotel room for tomorrow? I was thinking of a short day trip somewhere not too far from KL but would like to also use a room for the day to relax.

Haha thanks but I also don't know where to go for a day trip with the gf ;-p None of those places you mentioned coz we went to Genting 2 weeks back and we both live in Klang Valley so those places aren't ideal for a day trip out of town hehe

hmmmm i was thinking of driving up to Frasers since its not too far....PD i just called Thistle and they don't offer day usage of the rooms anymore unlike was the case when it was the Guoman before.....a lot of places in PD bit shoddy i feel...unless you or anyone has some recommendations there or elsewhere?

For day trip no need hotel kua...just go whatever place you like why waste on hotel unless..both wanna quick privacy haha..just check this thread on compiled list of day trip locations:

Hi, im planning to have my CNY/Vday with my fiancee here in KL so with 1k +- budget for a 3D3N trip.. im planning for a decent stay and time spent.

Thus ive been browsing for hotels around bukit bintang and found out all the decent staying prices is charged almost double from what ive seen in the website. ( i called them to ask bout the current rates)

Rm180 for a superior room. comes with breakfast. and i think thats an ok price after all would it? i can have the standard room which is much cheaper ( rm160 ) and have the breakfast as well. only difference is the standard room comes without windows. RM20 for a window should be worth it i suppose? cant really find any other hotel withing RM200 range now.

So.. any good/bad experience i should know bout staying in this hotel? if yes mind sharing it to mee before hand?


2. Vday dinner. im now looking for a great place with ambience to have a vday dinner with my love one. any recommended place i should put in my watchlist? budget is around 200-250 for both of us. any recommendation is much much appreciated. and im browsing thru all the possible places as we speak but i really dont wanna miss out on any good places which isnt mentioned in any sites.

As in peak period, most of the hotel rates are higher than normal. Phone rates are always not the same as web rates. Why don't you book online?



I would say its worth for Rm20 for window. The size and amenities of superior and standard are the same? Hotel Rae (from outside) are very new boutique hotel in BB.

thanks Putraskyline, yea am browsing the link for eateries as well. and im so much agrees with u that that RM20 for the windows is actually worth it. cant imagine a getaway and trapped inside a box. this Rae hotel attract me with its 32' LCD lol.

at kl, which hotel u guys recommended for 5d4n stays ar? intention is to go shopping and visit the eyes on msia.. so m lookin for a strategic hotel..

Too many hotel with various budget. Eye on M'sia? KL don't have eye on M'sia anymore.
