Hello to all ICE experts,
I need some advice with a slight issue that I'm experiencing.
Recently I've changed my HU and since this aftermarket HU supports RCA, I changed to RCA as well for the connection to my amp. The problem now is that there's a pop sound whenever the air-cond compressor kicks in or out (but kicking out will produce a louder pop).
I've tried disconnecting the RCA and the pop sound is gone. Even simply by turning off the HU, the pop sound is gone as well.
What could be the issue here? Will it be an easy fix?

QUOTE(howiechoo @ Nov 12 2012, 12:02 PM) go to ur installer wa howie damn cb anyways, if you experience the issue only AFTER you change the HU, then consider swapping similar HU (that supports RCA for example) and if it the issue doesnt occur, then consider replacing HU (eg: non alpine/pioneer or other reputable brands such as eclipse/clarion/blaupunkt etc can be considered crap and you're probably better never purchased it in the first place) as it may be faulty
