anyone already upgraded their ativ smartpc xe500t1c h01 (3g version) to Windows 8.1 via the online window store? successful or is there any problem.. tqvm

Just bought the XE500T1C-H01 from 1GadgetDotCom last Saturday. Ready stock.
But make sure you check everything at the shop. Turn on the device complete the config and test the touch screen plus the digitizer with the S-Pen.

The first unit that I bought have a faulty digitizer. Touch using fingers can detect but using the S-Pen cannot detect on the left half of the screen. Lucky my house is nearby so just return it back on the same day and 1Gadget replace a new unit for me with no question asked

Updated to Windows 8.1 and I can't believe how smooth this device run with the minimal spec that it got. Still remember using netbook when Intel Atom first came out and that was a nightmare .

BTW what case did you guys use for this tablet. Any casing selling at Samsung outlet?

Yup I do have the display driver problem when wake up from a long sleep but it does not happen all the time.

I think it is caused by the buggy Intel drivers. Have to look for an updated driver later.

The display problem have been solve through the latest driver updates from microsoft windows update. Latest version is 1177.
No more errors or lagging after wakeup from sleep.
