hehe more like a work station than a toy. Its a little effort to get used to especially without docking keyboard..just another 2 more weeks .
They have started selling in Kuching but the 500T version.
I'm interested to get the 500T in Kuching, may I know which shop it is that is selling?
Extra: Reason for going for non Pro is simply because of budget and Intel Clover Trail is enough for my work. I'm only doing simple programming, photoshop and web reading. Heavy gaming goes to my laptop. I wonder if the 500T can run games like MapleStory though?

Any considering iconia W700 for RM2199? Includes a cradle without keyboard but cheap. Comes with 2nd generation iCore3 processor though. But way way better than the Atom.

Ikr. Other countries are offering better spec of 3rd gen i3 or i5 processors for the Acer Iconia W500 but our country is only 2nd gen i3. And other country also give a free Bluetooth keyboard. @@ but price we win la.
I tried the intel Atom version of Samsung Smart Ativ PC and personally didn't really like the design. The keyboard is a cool concept but if I go for intel Atom, I would go for the Acer W500 which also includes keyboard dock for rm1699.
I have the W700, and one thing I found out was that the WiFi card (Atheros) is quite crappy, maybe it's because of the aluminium case, or the card reception is just poor, but it's very unstable!
Other than the WiFi problems, it's a very decent tablet, GREAT for media use since with a Core i3 you won't have ANY problems playing stuff.
I have read around and do read up pretty much a lot of WiFi issue. Just hoping that the issue is not on the hardware but the software. Why not you try contacting Acer and ask them about this? I am on a dilemma to get the ATIV Smart PC or this unit. Reason for this unit is simply the amazing i3 and full HD at such reasonable price.
Not trying to stray away from topic, but I would like to ask if the W700 is able to play older games such as Starcraft or MapleStory properly? And how is the heat after several hours of usage?
