we can use a USB hub as I mentioned earlier. and like you mentioned, using another device - load balancer router will be another option but it will cost a lot more. I'm using zeroshell (software-based load balancer router) as a VM in my PC with 2 LAN ports and a WiFi connection which is on 24x7.
*
so ur pc work as load balancer connecting USB internet from pc and internet from router right?

I have 2 x 3G modems and 2 x 3G routers like digilife. Both sets are connected to the same network via a LAN cable connected to respective routers' LAN port. My PC just connect to one of the 3G router via WiFi and I mapped this WiFi Adapter as a network card in the zeroshell VM.

Here's a simple graphical view of the setup for my home:

there's a few tricks ,

E372 also similar heat if u open the cover too

just leave the sim card cover open,.. use some fan to blow the air either to the side external antenna hole, or the other side Micro SD card slot,. it will help to cool the ZTE MF680 down,..

ZTE MF680 cover material is thinner then E372,. that's why u easily feel it hotter,.

there is no way to open the ZTE MF680 front cover because once it open up, the second silver antenna will dettach and signal /speed both will go down tremedously,

no matter how i try to pin the silver thing back on the board without cover, it will wont work,.. so only can use with front cover close  doh.gif
*
will the cover melt after long hour using doh.gif
chuahcs, where u stay? maybe can drop by ur house for modem testing laugh.gif

ts-9 is a convertor connector to connect your zte mf680 to panel antenna.  After adding the panel, the high speed is super stable now.

my zte mf680 is 3 set. Official firmware no longer available due to i flash with Tre swedish firmware. And i can't find any link for official 3 firmware. I tweaked it to 33tx. The Tre swedish firmware is working fine for me.

some how, i dont think maxis limit user up to 42mbps...
take example on LTE country..
max speed test out just around 40-50mbps...
so if 42mbps max u can get will likely around 20mbps
3g is all on wireless ...need take many factor into consideration instead saying maxis limit the speed..
my area i constantly get 10mbps on my download...
for those 10sec where u have burst speed it might due to calculation issue...program sometime need time to calculate the speed of packet go tru the line..sometime pc might slow to calculate...it sometime happen to me also...on my unified when i first start run speedtest...it jump over to 20mbps on my VIP5 after that drop to 5mbps constantly...
if want to get 42mbps , i guess u need fibre wire connect to the tower.

if LTE launch with package like maxis legandry line..i sure sign up like i sign up my maxis 3g legendary line.. who know it might give unlimited quota like current legendary line .. laugh.gif

ya lo. 16mbps already can watch 1080P youtube very smooth.
youtube also hv limit our download speed.
when I watch 1080P youtube, i see the download speed is maintain at 12mbps.
when I watch untill 2 minute, youtube already buffer all 4minute video.
so 16mbps is very enough to watch 1080P youtube.
*
bro,
even on 16mbps u wont get smooth streaming..
try install XBMC and open 1 liveTV see how many u can run....
my unifi can run any liveTV with just 5sec after click and no bufferin at all
my maxis cant even load 50% of the channel and even load might take 30-1min to load the channel and buffering half way..
low ping also important in streaming i guess smile.gif

it just when u play dota over G.arena where ppl kick those high ping keke
