some how, i dont think maxis limit user up to 42mbps...
take example on LTE country..
max speed test out just around 40-50mbps...
so if 42mbps max u can get will likely around 20mbps
3g is all on wireless ...need take many factor into consideration instead saying maxis limit the speed..
my area i constantly get 10mbps on my download...
for those 10sec where u have burst speed it might due to calculation issue...program sometime need time to calculate the speed of packet go tru the line..sometime pc might slow to calculate...it sometime happen to me also...on my unified when i first start run speedtest...it jump over to 20mbps on my VIP5 after that drop to 5mbps constantly...
if want to get 42mbps , i guess u need fibre wire connect to the tower.
if LTE launch with package like maxis legandry line..i sure sign up like i sign up my maxis 3g legendary line.. who know it might give unlimited quota like current legendary line ..

ya lo. 16mbps already can watch 1080P youtube very smooth.
youtube also hv limit our download speed.
when I watch 1080P youtube, i see the download speed is maintain at 12mbps.
when I watch untill 2 minute, youtube already buffer all 4minute video.
so 16mbps is very enough to watch 1080P youtube.
bro,
even on 16mbps u wont get smooth streaming..
try install XBMC and open 1 liveTV see how many u can run....
my unifi can run any liveTV with just 5sec after click and no bufferin at all
my maxis cant even load 50% of the channel and even load might take 30-1min to load the channel and buffering half way..
low ping also important in streaming i guess

it just when u play dota over G.arena where ppl kick those high ping keke
