i use panel antenna to point all tower/base station and remember their cell id with MDMA V11,

then test each and every cell id speed during day & night time,

choose best performances tower

it is a long process, need a lot of patience for sure

if i point my panel to tower on top hill, i will get 10~12Mbps now instead of 15~17Mbps

my area have many block of flat, tons of maxis user as well,

but i guess my area also have many tower / base station too 

heavy rain here in skudai. my rssi from -61 drop to -99!! i guess some of the tower near my location has been struck down by lightning kot..
