Just called Maxis and apparently it has a RM25 charge whenever you want to upgrade or change a new sim card, I told her someone did the upgrade foc, she replied me that it'll only apply to new maxis customer within one year subscription period. So in other word have to pay RM25 for each card, let alone have to pay extra for the adapter.

Guess I've to buy the cutter and cut it myself, just hoping that it'll work after cutting lol.

Google a bit and apparently all the telco centre out there will do the cutting job foc, anyone can confirm this? Some more I don't really need the adapter afterall, just use back the remaining part from the normal sim after cut, it works just like normal sim again. It's possible to cut it foc.

if u have panel antenna or yagi antenna, then is easy for you to point different direction to check your area coverages with MDMA,..

Yes, SIM cut is FOC and instantly, no need to wait. SIM change, whether charge or not, depends on whether its within a year or not, or if you are Maxis Elite One Club member.... :-)

Not all SIM card can cut!!! As in, older SIM cards, the chip itself will be very large. Thus, if you cut, will surely damage the chip.

Got sms from maxis. No more charge rm0.30/kb if pass quota. So maxis internet now unlimited? Just slow speed after reach quota?
