frutie , I believe you connected to less congested tower .  from what I experienced , in my case , the tower that nearer to my house is highly congested despite with good rssi , thus I avoid it like a plague . while the other 3 towers ( not in my sight , don't know where they are ) could easily get me 40 - 50% higher speed despite with lousy rssi .

by the way , i want to thx chua for pointing out cell id ( the culprit ) and this has clear my doubt why I get good rssi but lousy speed and vice versa . at the moment , I don't tweak my tx power and I don't use panel ( which always direct me to the nearest tower ) .
*
well Cell ID is all you need to pay attention at

after some times, u can tell from how many % signal is hop on which tower/base station notworthy.gif

my signal is so good because of the Panel Antenna

i am really grateful for this Antenna ,.. thumbup.gif

but if u said it when i didnt used it..when streaming also it change colour....it not about save power i think..while surfing also change colou
*
the normal way is

if u did that, it shouldn't change color in normal case

unless your tower kick your connection to other tower when super congested

or connection is up down when tower super congested too might be possible

I didn't do much. I just shifted its position, kinda 1 meter from its origin place. laugh.gif

Now it works well. biggrin.gif Then turn a bit.

Oh, can bump into it. So long it is within the radius. Sometimes, I still need to tweak when I download. Looks like every file has different position but it is within the same radius. laugh.gif
*
at least it work like charm compare to the speed without it biggrin.gif

this Panel antenna is a goodie,. user who tried it will agree thumbup.gif

i never move the panel antenna outside my window, just move the router or modem only icon_rolleyes.gif

nothing for me to refer... by the way want to share this info.
only firmware version of  11.113.17.20 on E372 works fine with 201.106.5-002 on HW550-3g

YTD i flash the firmware of E372 to 11.203.03 after that my hw550 cant detect the modem anymore. i tried 11.203.05 , 11.305.15.00, 11.113.21.00 gives the same result.

a minute just now, i found 11.113.21.00 and it solved my problem.

happy biggrin.gif
*
just a tips:

u also need to make sure u update your aztech HW550 3G router to newest firmware in order to support E372 with latest firmware notworthy.gif
