I just subscribed to Maxis Home Wifi, bundled with a B660 Huawei modem. The speed is terrible as I only manage to get around 1mb/s of download max, even though the signal is full bar (shown on the modem gateway menu). Is it a modem problem or area problem?

ooikl In your case, antenna is highly suggested

Since your signal is trully very bad, at 2G drops, only solution is to use antenna as I guess you only can get 1 tower at your location

fruitie 3G is totally depends on luck and patience. Now I bring my 760S everywhere, it makes me happy

The battery is nice.

And best of all, it works without battery so it can function as a USB modem and run at full powered mode.

When using MiFi, it can either on HSPA or DC, but sometime takes a while to switch from HSPA to DC

im using it but with Hame T1
if im the only one using it, can easily reach 10 hours++ without moving too much
if stay at one place and signal 4-5 bar, can reach 12 hours++
works out of the box and LTE supported
