I just subscribed to Maxis Home Wifi, bundled with a B660 Huawei modem. The speed is terrible as I only manage to get around 1mb/s of download max, even though the signal is full bar (shown on the modem gateway menu). Is it a modem problem or area problem?

Get a MF680 + Mr3420 router, cost abt rm260, sell the B660 , your "damage is only abt rm100, if u manage to sell the B660 for rm160 icon_idea.gif

ooikl In your case, antenna is highly suggested wink.gif

Since your signal is trully very bad, at 2G drops, only solution is to use antenna as I guess you only can get 1 tower at your location sweat.gif

fruitie 3G is totally depends on luck and patience. Now I bring my 760S everywhere, it makes me happy laugh.gif
*
Can borrow to play play ?

But if the battery is weak, you jou will be short lived laugh.gif

PM me your price for that 760S

THANKS

The battery is nice.

And best of all, it works without battery so it can function as a USB modem and run at full powered mode.

When using MiFi, it can either on HSPA or DC, but sometime takes a while to switch from HSPA to DC
*
Like YES Huddle , can take out the battery to act as MiFi ?

im using it but with Hame T1
if im the only one using it, can easily reach 10 hours++ without moving too much
if stay at one place and signal 4-5 bar, can reach 12 hours++
works out of the box and LTE supported
really satisfied with Hame T1 and Huawei E398 bought from blacktubi
hame can flash to openWRT?

EDIT
just google and certain hame products can be flash to openWRT
*
blacktubi

-----off topic----- Btw, my Note1 always display " out of memory " how to fine the easiest way to overcome it ?

thanks

Unless you have something that support multi threaded connection (EG : Torrent)

Else there wont be significant benefit

This is Software load balance, haven't account the lost and overhead sweat.gif

++

Go for hardware type and use a LTE modem and a DC HSPA+ modem that connect to 2 different cells, LTE and DC HSPA+.

From your experience, how good is 754s based on connectivity [ disconnection due to low battery ] and signal reception ?

E5776 can detect LTE much more easier than E398.

And it will log onto it even if the signal is low.
