QUOTE(ming86 @ Feb 23 2014, 05:51 PM) How? need any software/tool? You cant change DNS on Huawei MiFi, there's a way but I am too lazy to trybtw, how to configure DNS to use Google DNS in E5776? E5776 signal reception is good compare to E398. in my kampung E398 not able to connect 3G if without external antenna. have to use external antenna, or put my modem outside my house, but network still not stable, signal too weak. E5776 able to connect 3G, even without external antenna, inside my house. And the heat is low too. You just like comparing Myvi 1.5 to Viva 1.0. Of course Myvi would works better |

QUOTE(ultraxp @ Mar 1 2014, 09:14 PM) Hi there blacktubi, I have Huawei e5776 that is a Digi set, but it unlocked and can be used with celcom/maxis sims. I only recently bought it, and there is now a notification on it that there is a firmware update... The version is as follows. Go for it, new firmware is always better. FIRMWARE1: 22.264.07.02.311 Size: 53.88 MB The Mifi is working ok for me as it is. My question is: is it ok to proceed with the auto update? I'm afraid if after the upgrade there may be problems...worst thing is Digi updates it to locked set.. What do you think? Nope, DiGi didn't lock it |
