sarcasms aside, the form we're in is terrible. it's a mid table team form. in the scoring-and-conceding team category, man utd is top, we're in the middle, and southampton's bottom.

3-2 for united, like it has always been.

seriously, do they purposely do that? like let the opponent feel good abt themselves before sneaking in goals? or purposely let the opponent tire out before going 100%?

QUOTE(IsoZ @ Nov 11 2012, 03:17 AM)
crystal ball ?! lol .. 2-3 now
*
lol they've been playing 3-2 games for too many times now it's like a predictable movie. the only unpredictable part of this one is that rvp didnt score.

chicharito is effectively their plan B. play the ball into the penalty box and he will find a way to get there first.

we had the urgency yesterday. that was an improvement. usually if we have 10 minutes left we'll keep on passing and back passing and losing the ball. having giroud offers a direct route to goal w/o any of that fancy time wasting play. tho when walcott went off for oxlade the urgency kinda faded out. damn walcott was intense ytd

i'd rather have walcott pinned on the flanks. having him in the center would waste a good crosser, and he wont be linking up much with giroud he just wants to score for himself it seems. plus our center mids are not really combative, santi will get rolled over by 95% of the mids in bpl. when are we facing everton? i do not relish the sight of fellaini battling arteta and santi at all

that style of play is truly not the best to watch, but how good are we exactly at playing the passing game? yes we were good, but i am no longer convinced that we are. plus, we need to develop a different approach to scoring, and giroud provided that. if we opted to play the passing game ytd i dont know what the score would be. our main passers santi and arteta were dismal ytd.

^ there was one point in the game when we had 3-4 players in the penalty box, and sagna was holding the ball. and no one was in the center, offering a short pass option. two players were hounding him and he ended up passing back to per. i'm sorry, i thought i was watching arsenal? this might be a sam allardyce's team for all i see! no one is making a move to offer a short pass option, no wonder we kept backpassing and then eventually losing the ball. because no one wants to hold it.

good thing is we're playing a spurs side who's having trouble finding the net next. but you never know with derbies, and gareth bale has been playing fantastic away from home.

sounds like a midfield enforcer is what we need. if we get that, we'll have arteta and wilshere to play the deep lying playmaker role, while santi's role is still exclusive to him. rosicky might be able to do both once he's back, but we can never rely on his injury prone legs, like diaby.

jyeah cavani. fan of his work in napoli, a shame the triumvirate of hamsik/lavessi/cavani has been broken. cant believe i didnt recognize him there, but yes i like his finishing very much. a player who can score out of seemingly impossible situations. if giroud can head the ball, he's like a giroud who can score with his foot.

but before i go on lavishing praises on his shooting accuracy, he's realistically out of our reach.

i'll slot in podolski in center and have arshavin back on the left wing. tho i'll admit we lose some defensive protection from podolski and the aerial ability of giroud in both attacking and defending.

the stats remind me of rvp before he exploded. back when the whole team was scoring and he was the provider. the one thing that would shut up his critics is to score a goal from individual brilliance, not a one touch goal. he almost got that with his long range effort while shouldering off sidwell, which schwarzer saved.

if he keeps up that level of finishing and crossing he'll be a monster in any team. the theo we have now is capable of crossing, finishing and outrunning anyone. do we want to let him go to freakin chelsea? not sure i want to see mazacar evolve to mazacarott, however stupid the name sounds biggrin.gif

Lol I realized that too. If drogba was our bogeyman, arsene's avb's french bogeyman. He cant cope!

I guess one man vp misses the playmaking of rooney. Norwich seems to be the giant killer of this season!

Added on November 18, 2012, 6:55 amHenry mustve immensely enjoyed that game ytd. N sol haha, the NLD mascot. Now we have gallas n ade. wonder if he spoke to the press after the game, titi

Who cares about the what would have beens if ade was still on. Shit happened to us, shit happened to them. This time the shit was self incurred by their own player. We lost a man at man utd, but we didnt lose by a mile cuz they didnt capitalize. The only thing we can do is capitalize, and now after we did, the fans still think the team is pathetic?
