background looks fine to me... maybe is because it's f1.8?

Here's something I shot with my Sigma 50 1.4, still not familiar with it. Sometimes feel like i need wider to put more in frame when stepping back is not an option, that's why I feel like getting the 35mm f1.8G.

Added on December 23, 2012, 12:06 ambtw, looks like nikon has gone mad.

i wish that 1.5m away from the person can shoot wider, not too close up. so, 35mm is the best choice for me now.

I'm thinking of getting a zoom lens for my D7000, deciding between 70-200 f2.8 from Sigma or Tamron, or get cheaper Nikon 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 VR.

Anyone has used any of these lens? Nikon's 70-200 f2.8 is too expensive for me, so I'm looking for alternatives.
