Yup. Had the same problem today for the first time too. I just updated some basic apps like Google +, Flipboard etc. I'm on stock and trying to keep it lean and installing just basics.

Of course no hissing sound. Hissing sound does not come from the Samsung cable or Samsung phone. It comes from the Samsung charger. Using Iphone charger and Samsung USB cable will not reveal the hissing sound.

BS. I mentioned this before a while back. When I got mine from SenQ, the girl gladly wanted to open 2 boxes for me to see (one grey and one white) without hesitation on my request. I felt bad because I already decided to take the grey set and them told her not to open the white one.

Same thing happened to me. Got to get it another day. After collecting my prepaid card, they took more than half an hour to register it and then still failed. They only managed to register the line the following day.

Perhaps if you get to hear other headphones hooked up to your Note 2, your expectations will change.

Actually, if you switch on the Quick Glance option under Settings / Motion, you'd still be switching on the proximity sensor anyways... So for those who already have the Quick Glance option switched on, the Intellicover app should not make the lifespan of the proximity sensor any worse.

I'm still using my SE MW600.

I actually made my decision by putting the Casio calculator in my pocket. Way back last year with Note 1.

But the Note 2 (as with the S3) flip cover is anytime better than Note 1.

Most of the time, screen is off right? For me, no difference between 24 hours on if on Intellicover vs 20 hours on Quick glance. It's still a lot of hours.

What if this OLD PHONE does not have bluetooth connection? LOL

Original question is if you use Intellicase, you wear out your sensor because it runs 24/7.

I say how is it different if you use Quick Glance? You pointed out only that it only activates when the screen goes to sleep. I mentioned that by estimation, it would be around 20 hours per day the screen is off (maybe more depnding on your personal usage) and that 20 hours and 24 hours is no different as it's still a long time the sensor needs to be on.

So basically if somebody can say they don't mind using Quick Glance, should be no problem to use Intellicase as it's only around 4 or 5 hours more usage of the sensor per day.

The only thing I worry is speed and response of the phone...

I think I only saw a pic of the black flip original casing on the front that you posted. How does it look at the back? Is it still titanium grey colour like the other original grey flip casing?

I'm sure by now you would already found the answer to transfer your contacts to your new phone. No idea on the question of paid apps. I guess cannot since games / apps are not cross platform.

Was just merely highlighting the fact that Quick Glance also uses proximity sensor for long durations just in case people are not aware. If people are worried and paranoid that their sensors get overcooked, they should have the same caution when using Quick Glance too. That said, nothing wrong with being paranoid.

The other reason I brought up Quick Glance was because it's a built-in feature on the Note 2. If Samsung can sanction it, I don't see how we should be worried.

I believe writing speed is the reason why Best Face feature cannot be implemented when replacing with the Sandisk memory card.

You can get a normal LED TV with HDMI and use the AllShare dongle to connect the phone with the TV.

Or get a Samsung Smart TV that has the AllShare built in.

For Samsung Smart TV, don't know if they have 40 inch but I only came across their 42 inch which was slightly above 2k.

Going by customer service alone, HN is better. But that's my limited experience.

For Treats Points, HN is RM 50 for 9000 points while SenQ is RM 1 for 200 points. Do the math.
