Well nowadays li batt are smart. They can limit the charging amp to ensure they are protected. Eg. note 2 batt should be max at 2A. So using a bigger charger is not gonna charge it faster as the batt is just gonna take 2A. It should be controlled by the chip in the battery.

Using Note 2 charger to charge Note 1 should be faster. Not slower.
Never seen a commercially higher than 2A charger before. Don't count the chargers used for RC car lah.

bought my note 2 last week. Sme set. Today noticed that the screen is quite yellowish especially on google page. And there is a black line also which can see at full brightness.

I want to claim for warranty. However, my set not registered for ewarranty yet because I buy from my friend. I read a few pages said a forumer here can help do the ewarranty.

Can i do this: I ask forumer to register warranty on 15/11/2012 and then 16/11/2012 I go samsung center and tell them i bought the set yesterday and it already defective and i want to claim a 1 on 1 replacement. Possible ? So sad to see my phone like this

Charge lar.  No problem one. What I meant is that your s3 would probably not charge at 2A. It will be limited by what yhe battery can take.

Nothing wrong in using higher amps to charge lower amps because there always an input power and output. If source is 1amps output sure 1amp

If source 2amps can drop to 1amp

Got my grey Note II yesterday Planning to root later tonight. Any useful guides? What's the best custom rom for Note II?

As usual, around 2 - 3 hours for around 10% to 100%. I guess 5 hours it too much sufficient for it to get full charge.
