QUOTE(sklchan @ Nov 9 2012, 11:55 PM) do u think smartphone smarter or the 2011 laptop battery control smarter? I will just give you what I've learn from the laptop, depleted the battery till the lappy auto shutdown, after fully recharge back afterward the Li-Ion battery only able to hold 95% of charge no matter how I measure it still totally lost the 5% capacity just after that damn 1st time depletion... so u make ur own judgement... Well objective measurement is almost always a good thing, and in this case I believe you. However, how did you make that measurement? I would like to get my hands on such a device as well.

Still wondering whether to root my N2 to get emoji for the keyboard. Any comments/recommendations? what i mean for keyboard is when we tweet and post comment on instagram it can have the emoji icons in the keyboard.

QUOTE(andrewtyy @ Nov 9 2012, 11:53 PM) okok..thanks =) yup...do overcharging causes any problem? Lithium-ion operates safely within the designated operating voltages; however, the battery becomes unstable if inadvertently charged to a higher than specified voltage. Prolonged charging above 4.30V forms plating of metallic lithium on the anode, while the cathode material becomes an oxidizing agent, loses stability and produces carbon dioxide (CO2). The cell pressure rises, and if charging is allowed to continue the current interrupt device (CID) responsible for cell safety disconnects the current at 1,380kPa (200psi).Should the pressure rise further, a safety membrane bursts open at 3,450kPa (500psi) and the cell might eventually vent with flame. The thermal runaway moves lower when the battery is fully charged; for Li-cobalt this threshold is between 130–150C°C (266–302°F), nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) is 170–180°C (338–356°F), and manganese is 250°C (482°F). Li-phosphate enjoys similar and better temperature stabilities than manganese.Lithium-ion is not the only battery that is a safety hazard if overcharged. Lead- and nickel-based batteries are also known to melt down and cause fire if improperly handled. Nickel-based batteries have also been recalled for safety concerns. Properly designed charging equipment is paramount for all battery systems. Added on November 9, 2012, 11:59 pmQUOTE(nicregi @ Nov 9 2012, 11:54 PM) Hard to say. Clean and slim is monxdified. QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 9 2012, 11:58 PM) Totally agree. True story on my netbook... hehe, yay man... we're the "victim" LOL these Li-Ion battery 3 things will "hurt" them: 1. Over charging (may exploded!!) 2. Over depletion (reduce capacity, worst total failure) 3. Over Temp (reduce capacity in long run) but there's 1 thing good for them => LOW TEMP
