Remedor® Aquatic is a highly effective broad spectrum disinfectant for aquaculture against a wide range of pathogens including White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) and Yellow Head Virus (YHV) and Koi Herpes Virus (KHV). Independent tests with Remedor® Aquatic have proven to destroy these viruses in aquatic environment. When applied, Remedor® Aquatic maintains water quality such as pH, salinity, alkalinity and dissolved oxygen level. Remedor® Aquatic does not have any negative impact of phytoplankton: Chaetoceros calcitrans, Skeletonema costatum which are a major food source for young post larvae shrimp during pond's culture.

- Recommended dosage is 1ppm. If water has high organic content then double the dose to 2ppm.

Method: Dissolve Remedor Aquatic in a small container of freshwater before evenly distributing it over water surface. Please make sure adequate aeration is being provided via paddle wheels or aerators.

Novozymes' PondPlus is a synergistic blend of Bacillus bacteria, which displaces harmful bacteria by competitive processes. PondPlus is very effective in decomposition of undesirable organic substances in aquaculture water and significantly improves the ecological environment of the pond. It provides for a better balance of phytoplankton and beneficial microbes, leading to an improvement in the oxygenation and nutrition level of the shrimps. When used in conjunction with good farm management practices, PondPlus ensures good algal balance, good pond colour, reducing stress and improving shrimp yields.
The 80 to 90 days period during the culture cycle is the Critical Growout Period (CGP). The water quality tends to deteriorate rapidly during this period owing to high organic load, reduced levels of dissolved oxygen and increased toxic conditions. With PondPlus it is possible to protect the shrimp during this Critical Growout Period, maintain high survival rate and increase harvest yield.
PondPlus treated ponds could be maintained till over 120 days (for Litopenaeus vannamei and Penaeus monodon shrimp). The treated pond yielded both a bigger shrimp size, a bigger harvest and an improved feed sconversion ratio.
Dry PondPlus is available in water-soluble packages - Solupak™. Solupaks™ dissolve within a few minutes, releasing their contents quickly near the surface for rapid and convenient dispersal.

Ammonia & Nitrite are the organic killers in the pond. Stress caused by toxic ammonia and nitrite levels have cost farmers entire crops, resulting in devastating losses. High ammonia and nitrite levels cause acute and chronic effects that reduce the animal's disease resistance, stunt growth and dramatically impact yield. They deteriorate water quality, increase blood pH of the animal, reduce the oxygen content in the blood, affect gills which causes stress and increase the mortality rate of the shrimp. Of the two, it has also been observed that nitrite related mortality is higher than ammonia related mortality in later days of the culture. Even levels as low as 0.45 ppm of nitrite can be hazardous to the shrimp health.
Novozymes Biologicals' PondProtect is a unique patented consortium of two nitrifying bacteria - AOB-Ammonia oxidizing bacteria Nitrosomonas eutropha and NOB - Nitrite oxidizing bacteria Nitrobacter winogradskyi. These bacteria work together to reduce ammonia and nitrite levels in the pond water within 3 days
There are two critical periods during the crop cycle when a pond is most susceptible to rise in ammonia and nitrite levels. These are between 20-45 days of culture (DOC) and then above 70 DOC when typically the organic load in the pond is high and conditions begin to get anaerobic. PondProtect is recommended to be used as a preventive treatment during these critical periods. It can also be used at higher dosage levels during emergency conditions.

Methylene Blue is effective against superficial fungal infections of fishes. The drug may be used as an alternative to Malachite Green for the control of fungus when it is known that the fish to be treated are sensitive. Methylene Blue is safe for use with fish eggs and fry for the prevention of fungal infections. As a secondary use, it is effective against some external protozoans, such as Ichthyophthirius (Ich), Chilodonella and Costia.. Methylene Blue is also very effective when used as part of a "medicated fish bath" for treatment of ammonia, nitrite, and cyanide poisoning as well as for topical and internal treatment of injured or sick fish as a "first response".

DOSE
For attacks on fish eggs, use a solution of methylene blue adding 3 to 5 mg/l as a preventative measure after the eggs are laid.
