Hello guys, I went to see a chiropractor yesterday because of my long term niggling backache. Based on the chiropractor's general observation, he said there's a high chance that I have Scoliosis. I still need to go for two more appointments this coming Monday & Wednesday, and if my backache is still there, he recommended me to to a spinal X ray. One thing that worries me is, let's say if I really have Scoliosis (I've been suspecting myself that my back bone is a bit weird too for a couple of years already) and I have to go for surgery, what are the limitations that I'll face after the surgery? e.g extreme activities, weight lifting, bending, stretching. There's still a lot more extreme things I wanted to accomplish haih cry.gif

Has anyone here gone through scoliosis surgery in the past? I had mine few months ago. Mind sharing your experience for post operation?

Hi, good morning.

Can I know the causes that prompt you to go through scoliosis surgery ?

Go for xray.

I have mild scoliosis with spina bifida at L5, and I didnt go for surgery. It was painful, but then after 6 months doing chiropractic treatment along with pilates, I'm pain free.
