hi, will be getting my Forte 1.6SX White rclxm9.gif this saturday drool.gif
So already can put me Up to Owner's List

everything had been done, Loans(approved 3 days) intrest rate 2.85%, second car from AmBank(im 21yrold btw), Kelantan Plate(causes me to go to JPJ Kelantan in getting the no DCD).

just left to go finished all the remaining D/P and take home the car.

For the price of RM85,800 With Discount 4k(RM81,800). Add RM1500 get Full Bodykit+Spoiler, red 'K' Logo, Security Tinted Installed.
Buying at Raza Motors Sdn Bhd at Taman Samudera Batu Caves(near Giant), i had read all post, and didnt find anyone getting same deals as mine. biggrin.gif

SA is the best i had since i bought a MyVi last year.
Hafiz Rumi=Contact no 016-9721003

surveying the bodykits around RM650+ in KL incl install, kelantan RM850+. security tint also expensive RM500-RM800+ i think.
'k' logo only RM90, some people sell RM200 shocking.gif
so the deal i get is just the same if i buy outside which is good, most people paying RM3k-Rm4k to get all the stuff.

at first SA ask me to add RM3k incl Leather seat and all mention above and saying i already get good offer from RM4k supposely
, i refuse and ask for more Discount.
Lastly he gave me a GOOD deal because soo pening rclxub.gif , saying dealing with me is like buying "kueh". tongue.gif

i Sign the agreement before TEST DRIVE, because i believe in all the forumers had said. brows.gif
after sign go test drive and really excited, everything soo smooth (at least better than my 2011 MyVi lor)

really like the speaker, that what i like about KIA!! just like my wife's Picanto. speaker even MyVi surrender! icon_idea.gif

as other forumes had said,
Noisy Tires, Bumpy rides , High fuel consumption,
My Solution: will be changing to Michelin Tyre soon just like mine MyVi. bumpy rides? high FC?
well, im upgrading from MyVi,more CC means more oil. The most important is COMFORT & Satisfaction.
not looking for a RACE CAR. i dont know how comfort you are before, probably downgrading from BMW?
at least i know its better than Vios in terms of size, spec.

Just Like other buyer looking for cars, Comparing between Vios, City, Inspira. for me
T & H already out because of overpriced B-Segment with low Spec.
Inspira? Good car, Good engine, Almost same siize, Better Engine, Spec Close to Forte.
i was looking for Inspira 1.8M but SA said no stock anymore, so i stay with the "Love At The First Sight" Forte
My Question Before Bringing Home my Forte :

1)Anyone could tell me how to check if mine is 4speed or 6 speed?
SA said 6 speed, i just want to be confirm before taking my car this Saturday, as im working & staying in kelantan.

2) could tell me how to check if mine is DRL Version based on pic attached?

3)any cracked version of GPS? What system is it using? WinCE,Android? SA told me the one i will have only comes with 1 YEAR of usage.

Thanks

Stock one is 205/45/r17 rite?
Maybe michelin ps3 215@215 /45@50 r17.

I need thick tyre cuz i am a clumsy driver and i like to layan lubang a lot. Haha..

Scared spoil sportrim using this tyre,
Not so thick.

Using michelin xm2 205/40/r15
on myvi before, very
Good on lubang, as it bounce back and didnt heard any hard ground hitting sport rims.

That's the main reason i downgraded from 17" to 15" lol. i also layan lubang alot. many times i lenjan only and some i do not even see them... but i would reckon not to change the tire size at least change rim first and use thicker profile tire. I read somewhere 17" on 215/45/17 already has +0.8 ODO diff.. If put higher definitely will increase and you can't be too sure whether it will hit fender/side wall or not.
haha of course the more expensive ones would be better. In Tire talk they keep recommending Federal Evo.. best budget tires so called... Else for yokohama C Drive 2 it's already about RM400 each.. Good Year assymetric about RM480.. Continental CC5 RM540.. Michelin XM2 about RM600? WTH... All price quoted was before discount I'm pretty sure take 4 definitely would have cheaper price.
*
Downgrade rims size will not lowered car?
Because current car with bodykit already lowered, and i dun like much, because will scratch bodykit when got bumpy road lol

bro.. when you downgrade your rim.. the tire profile also became thicker one la.. Check on your door... when you open your driver door beside there it's written.

215/45/17 - 205/50/16 - 195/65/15
*
So u're saying i need 15inch with THICK tyre in order to cooperate with the downgrade?

But i think maybe i'll stick with 17' with thicker tyre i suppose...Michelin PS3 215/50/r17.. 225 can fit ar?

yes, by right 17" is better handling than 16".. but the tire plays very important role too... so far, we heard that stock tire is terribly lousy with poor handling and noise..
*
Agreed.. Stock tyre is bad.hardly grip in rain and cornering. But my concern now is FC
, KB,Kelantan>Tanjung Tualang,Perak is like 390KM, i fueled Rm85 full tank, and when arrive already left 50km. Shouldnt long distance have better FC? Just done 1St service last week. I think FC is higher than everyone here. Mine is 1.6SX. Even higher than my fatherinlaw Mitsu Pajero sport GS 2.5 diesel. As we convoy together

Anyone sharing their Fc? Even in city drive barely hit 400km before i refueled. This month already Rm500+ just
For minyak.KL>Seremban>KL. KL>KB. KB>Perak. Perak>KB. My car is like 2-3 weeks old with 2.2k mileage
And city drive with moderate jam.

Something wrong with my car?

did you do anything else onto your babe after the first service, like putting weight, etc..? your FC seemed high with 1.6sx as my 2.0sx got 8.4l/100km (80% city, 20% h.way)..

Hi,2adult.1teen1kids.total 4. No heavy luggage except bag of pakaian.

Update: SC checked and said no problem with my FC.
Anyone know how to adjust the throttle? Because SC said cant adjust, everything is electronic. Damn. Full tank less than 400km is not normal for a city drive, even long distance.

SC however will make report to HQ to see how its going.

Anyone know which SC can do throttle adjustment?
Can gve phone number?

bro do you rev the engine like everytime before gear change at 3k rpm? I tried to go for mild driving.. which means on auto every gear change at about 2.5k rpm. So far 2 tanks i got 460km +- few km. I clocked 2 times at around 410km when i rev the fellow most of the time. Even in bad traffic condition i just pijak minyak and do hard breaking. So that explains for the low FC.

Now testing BHP... seems to have a better result for the infiniti 95.. not sure if anyone is using it and clocking good FC.

NVM THE FC..... Now got bigger problem..

haizzz....

front bumper were ripped off because of my clumy driving.
now i need solution from you people =_=!
any recommendation on how to fix this ?
that y i think forte is too low... risky for driver like me who used to a lil high myvi.

HELP PLEASE!! cry.gif

I just came back from JB and my FC is around 535km++ / RM90+- for highway and city drive in JB... is this consider good?

Tested mine yesterday, 40% city 60% highway.
Full tank Rm90 440km with less than 50km balance.
Mine is Worst fc here i think.

Happy new year. Bad start for my forte. Just hit a pathole in water, no my tyre flat. Damn. At 1.30am new year eve. Really....

Silverstone is really famous for its "flat in a hole" & bengkak as i experience from my last myvi.

Anyway, do u guys think my tyre is still fix-able?

just wondering when you guys sent your ride for warranty claim and part (any) replacement, will the SC issue you a receipt or something that tell this xxxx parts being replaced etc comment ?
*
I think they should, because i got mine last service.
But my problem is they said they gave Hi-Rev oil on receipt, but didnt gave me the "extra" left from hi-rev bottle. And i didnt even see the bottled. Maybe they use cheaper oil? Who know. Thats is my first 1000km service btw.

I remember how i used to complain on very high FC,
Rm85, full tank less than 350km.
Because of how heavy footer i am.
Used to drive myvi 1.3 manual.
Thats why!

But now easily get 9-10+/100km.
Train really hard haha

Went to terengganu and return back to kota bharu last week, (not highway). Rm89, 450km+. Top speed 178km.
