bro, my opinion is, center cone price is ok but tyre price a bit expensive leh

Wow quite expensive leh. Rm390 can get cdrive 2 and rm1800 can get advanti light weight rims.  I hope it's 17 inch you are talking.  If 16 inch then bloody expensive.  Haha

Cdrive 2 is about rm400. For that price can get nexen or federal only.

according to some other member's post, itz about 310-330 CDrive 2 for the size of 215/45/17
i suppose cdrive 1 will be cheaper??

Also, how come the shop makan all four pcs of the original Forte sport rims for RM800 only? Seems like a little low to me...

If its 17" and lightweight, I think you got a fair deal bro.
You are absolutely right in the sense that 50 profile tyre is a little costlier than 45s.

AFAIK, the change of rims to one which is of the same size OR 1" difference from stock size, will not void any warranties. Anything more than 1" diff...I'm not sure

yeah man. i read somewhere as long as you keep to the standard tyre size Naza will still provide the warranty if there is any failure on your suspension, breaking system and so on.. but changing to different size i'm not sure. Maybe Edwin can close 1 eye and claim for you if there is any issue? RM1.8k? lightweight? advanti rims?

Should get C-Drive 2 bro. It's better than C-Drive 1. But still both yoko tires are proven with a good track record unlike synergy m5!!!

bro your RM800 is rim with tires? or rim only? So total trade in value they give you rm12xx?

My tires trade in Hin Liong given me RM520.. RM140 each.. but rim the uncle say he got 3 sets cannot sell... so if take also will accept @ RM400 only. so i brought it back home lor. If trade in for RM800 it's pretty damn good. What I'm afraid is that he give you those xxxx brand rims and over charge you RM1800 for the extra top up money only. If you are getting normal 17" inch rim in Klang it's about RM1.2k - RM1.4k with discount. Those Advanti light weight rim would be about RM1.6k - RM1.8k ++ . Your Rim advanti light weight? Those posted up by Nestum is best value rims actually.

no la.. the uncle work in hin liong say cannot give high for our forte rims... cause he still have 3 sets stocked up.    only accept @ RM400 but their rims are all cheap i don't expect them to pay me RM800 from the very beginning. Hehe wedssport? hurmm never heard of it how many KG each side?

Hehe as long as got significant improvement in pick up / crawling speed i think ok liao. You should feel the crawling speed is much better. Hehe.

I pump shell last two days, use shifter to buka the engine since new car drove for 150km, just drop one and the half bar.. What kidman say is true, i think need to get use to our legs on the accelerator as press and releasing often can cause FC..

Previously i drove manual, can judge base on gear, but auto not use. If press hard, it will drop gear to pick up. So i tried maintain constent speed and make sure RPM dont go above 3000..

Malaysia road is getting more horrible.. Everywhere lubang and bumpy road.. Just now night never see, went pass the hole.. Lucky not driving fast..

Join the dark side.. Come to 15 inch.    Anyway for budget reliable tires can try yokohama series. A drive, C drive. of course if budget allow get Michelin PLC/PS3, Bridgestone Potenza is a good one as well.

got any stuck stones in the tyre bo? Haha someone did mentioned that Synery M5 will have this sound also when there is some stuck sstone in it. Maybe it's the same case.

If you have cash to spare, get PIAA (Japan) blades. It'll last you at least 4 or 5 years (as long as you don't treat it like a barbarian ) Cost around RM 150+-. I've a friend selling in his shop. Ori stuff. Let me know if u want it.
IMHO, it could be due to the thread (bunga) design.
It could also be your new rims not being balanced properly, which causes the buzzing sound during certain speeds/frequency.

i was trying to get michelin PS3 215/50/r17 tomorrow,
but the shop owner said 50 profile not suitable for forte cause will damage the gearbox in the long run. anyone can clarify this??
i need 50 profile thick tyre cuz last week i experience my atlantis v5 'pecah' after i hit some pothole. i was thinking 55 profile actually. anyone tried??

Using my car for 10 days. 2 things want to ask:
1. My carboot little bit hard to close. Is it normal for new forte or it just mine. The sound also not as padu as closing persona m-line carboot

2. Power window (driver side only) having this "clack" sound when i try to pull the switch after the window is fully shut

yes, previously i noticed it happened when decelerate after high speed at 100km/h... but today when i travel at 130+km/h continuously, i hear it even not decelerate..

i m still thinking want to send to sc, or jus leave it n continue to monitor...
