got my set from 1u...is the uv lense necessary?any recommendation?

Try a few different White Balance settings for a start. Getting the white balance right when shooting is so much better than correcting it on the PC later. Sometimes really headache trying to correct the color casts in PostP.

Button FN > WB > Custom Setup. Then shoot at the wall ("assuming your wall is white").  That should help.

Just bought a Sony Nex 5R-RY, but i notice the zoom lense 55-210mm seldom got chance to use it.

i took one only, wanted the 30mm and another forumer took the 19mm, we just split half for the cost, it was about RM800 after incl. shipping/conversion so roughly RM390-400 per person.

if you had indicated interest earlier, we could have ordered 2 x twin lens and save another USD12.50 in shipping  lol but it's already a very good deal i think. good luck in finding another forumer!

What type of plug head is it? It is compatible with our country voltage?
Will it imposed custom tax?

Actually I really love this lens very much... But too bad I dowan let it rotting as well.. 

Depends on what you want to shoot or what you like to shoot the most.

Since you're new to this, I would suggest you fully explore how the 5R functions 1st plus all the settings before you start lens collection. From there, and once you understand the various settings and how these settings impact your shots, then decide what it is that interest you most when you have the 5R with you.

Do you like nature? Street photog? Portrait? Sports? ...

I have a 50/1.4 from my Pentax (requires adapter) and a Sigma 30/2.8. I ended up using the 30 more. Heck, it's my so called 'kit lens'now...

Even during my Pentax days, I hardly touch my 50. I just found it ... 'difficult'...! But different users may find it differently... this is from my experience.

Slow successor to an old model, user complains. Comes out with a successor after half a year, user not happy. How to satisfy you lot la? Hahahaha
