Temples, churches, mosques plus it's multiracial residents adds colour n character to dis old Sentul town, while Sentul East is undergoing an urban renewal upgrades, mingling d old n d new, as opposed to newly developed areas such as d soul-less concrete jungle dat is Mt Kiara n such. Ultimately d choice is yours:)

QUOTE(37 Exposures @ Dec 27 2013, 07:13 PM) Compensation RM18k, allocated flats in Bukit Jalil, option to buy a medium-cost unit in the same place at RM42,000 3yrs later, time extension for move out...So is there any wrong with the developer? You are absolutely right, these people are simply insatiable greedy! |

QUOTE(alexlim_88 @ Jul 10 2014, 02:56 PM) Bought a unit in Saffron for own stay and will get the key very soon, but hoping the Saffron East area will turn into MK alike environment in future. Not exactly the same also will be very happy already. Welcome to Saffron....how much u bought it for if I may ask?By now I'm living in peaceful, a lot of Chinese (No racist), greenery, and convenient PJ Sec17 for 6 years and leaving from that place is god damn hard... Those who live at there before or still living at there know exactly what I'm talking about... If it's race u r concern abt, then KL mite not be suitable as condos here mostly consist of more multinational flavours, unlike PJ, n food could be a problem if u r partial to Chinese cuisine lol. As for peace n safety wise, Saffron will be up to ur expectation:) |

QUOTE(alexlim_88 @ Jul 11 2014, 12:28 PM) Opps.. typo.. It's 'Sentul East'. Thanks for correction. Dats a good deal u got, with two car parks too! I was told by our panel of agents it's RM700k n above now with two car parks n depending on conditions. I m looking at selling mine n upgrade to The Capers early quarter 2015:)I bought it RM670k (1085 sqft), with two carparks... Feel helpless with the subsale price. With that price of course there's a lot options in Klang Valley. But thinking of my wife working in MK and I'm in Bangsar, we can save a lot of time and money. (When you getting old then you start worrying about time and money haha) I'm totally OK with multinational people, as I 'm working with many foreign colleagues from different countries too.. There's no chance for us to buy in PJ... unless we're from rich family. Sentul east location is superb be rest assured....u n ur wife will love staying in dis part of KL:) |

It is true much has progressed with Sentul East Urban Renewal project by YTL but largely still confine to their projects vicinities...venture beyond dat boundaries, d low-medium class neighborhood still is an ugly sight sorely need much improvements....hopefully things can only get better:)

QUOTE(CP 28 @ Jul 17 2014, 10:57 PM) Me too, looking forward to capers vp & hopefully can move in b4 cny. Been thinking whether to sell or rent Saffron. Yes we are all waiting with bated breath to see d finished product lol. Hopefully VP will b earlier n not December, or else renoworks might not get it done by CNY, dat will b a shame lol.Just received d proposed furnishing package from YTL....kitchen n wardrobes already works out to be RM50k, I shuddered to think d final cost to have it fully furnished lol. Time to shop around n compare quotations now, hopefully get sorted out before GST sets in next April hahaha:-P |

QUOTE(CP 28 @ Jul 18 2014, 05:36 PM) Even at 50k is still without the hob/hood/oven & sliding door. I've got mine from Sig Kit during the last homeDec at <30k incl Ariston hob/hood/oven. Wow u certainly did your shopping way early lol....think I wouldn't confirm on anything just yet until VP n seen d actual place, after all I m going for minimalist design with a few signature furniture pieces thrown in dats all lol.Oh ya it's ridiculous to have quoted d wardrobes without inclusive of sliding doors price....not everyone fancy walk-in wardrobes mind you lol. Cool....at least dat saves almost RM10k there, hope it's reliably good brand n inverter energy-saving ones lol:)

QUOTE(Minolta @ Jul 19 2014, 09:41 PM) I doubt it's Acson, most probably their favorite YORK....must hv got a gd deal buying in bulk lol. We shd by right be given d option to instal our own choiced aircond brands (energy-saving inverter especially) n be given a rebate...well it's kinda late now, sigh:(. Does it also mean warranty, servicing n maintenance of d aircond units r all under d Developer too lol?:-P |

QUOTE(LLCHIN @ Jul 20 2014, 05:43 PM) All 3 block of The fennel is progressing well except for Block "C". I guess they are awaiting The Capers to VP before launching the remaining block of The Fennel. Wonder what is the indicative PSF price? Could be cheaper if they couldn't retain d FENNEL name wahaha?:-P |

QUOTE(LLCHIN @ Jul 22 2014, 08:09 AM) Highly Unlikely. Most likely they would like to use The Capers VP as the catalyst to bump up the price. looking at a range of 850 to 900psf. What's your take? No, wat I joked about was substituting Fennel name to a more unsavory one, like in d case of Capers lol:-PWell it's all wishful thinking on paper on price appreciation, d reality is d final sales transacted price if there are buyers hehe:)....of course prices will go up eventually if u hv d holding power lol. |
