My wife has a woman insurance from HLA.
It covers womanly diseases and also chidlbirth. It also doubles up as a investment plan to buy their shares.
The childbirth doesn't cover your medical fees but they consider it as a childbirth gift. You can get up till 5% of your insured amount when you give birth (and stay in a hospital).
I.e. if my wife is covered for RM300,000, when delivery, can claim RM3,000 a day stay in hospital. Max 5 days. Max 3 kids. But you can only claim one year after you sign up the package.
Also if there is complications and etc, those are different claims. Not sure if it covers hospitalisation for complications etc.

Sorry! don't know whats the name of the plan. but if you need more information you can pm me for the contact of the insurance agent and you can ask her more information.
It's not too bad. The insurance agent encourage you to stay 5 days to claim the maximum of 15k. Just that this is a planning insurance/ investment and you have to wait 1 year.

Just an update. Received RM15k from HLA already for the stay of 5 days at hospital. (1 week to claim only)
Unfortunately this plan has been discontinued. According to the agent, not very "dai" for the company. It has been revised to something like 10k max or 8k but stay in hospital 3 days.
