i think the tempo of our attack was disrupted when Howard Webb whistle for the Stevie G's injury in the penalty box... that stoppage for about 5-6 minutes really disrupt the flow of the game... after that stoppage, I think our players lost interest in attacking.... not blaming anyone here.... but that's what I saw this morning... the attacking was fast and furious before the stevie g's injury... after restart, nothing interesting happened until luiz suarez's goal...

lampard and terry still injured... no real leader in the team except for poor cech... he didn't get much help from our leaking goals defense... wish our defense is more resolve like last year...

if chelsea manage to win and juve beat Shaktar... what are the odds of our team go through? we'll be level on 10 points... is the head to head records gonna count? We won 1 and lost 1 against Shaktar.... someone enlighten me please?

no chance now.... have to rely on shakhtar... looking at the morale and the form of our team now, we haven't won games in a long time.... the Man City games will be another tough test for the guys... hope they can end this drought soon... sigh!

Whatever it is, it is the best decision for the club.... My blood is blue and I'll give full support to any managers even though our team in losing streak... time to get behind Rafa as he'll lead a blue army now... forget the past....

imo, this morning's game is drop 2 point. looking at the poor run of the Citizens at Stamford Bridge, we are the clear favourites.... plus Rafa's record against City is excellent... but our player dribbles too much... holding to the balls to long... wish they play like lampard... one touch and fast passing... not holding and dribbling....
let assess their performance:
1. cech - had a good game. first clean sheet in 10 games... will help a lot
2. Azpillicueta - solid in the back but poor poor crosses when given the chance... he should have deliver better balls inside the box... i think Iva in his position deliver better crosses
3. luiz - one of his better games this season... still a moment of scare when he grab Kompany in the penalty box... could easily resulted a penalty.
4. Ivanovic - solid work at the back as expected.
5. cole - super defensive play... again when go up field tends to dribble too much and lost the ball... no quality in the crosses either....
6. mikel - same old same old... could have play better
7. ramires - dribbles too much... always lost the ball when yaya challenged him... pretty scary when he lost the ball as the middle of the park is where city builds their attack.
8. mata - a quiet night for our maestro.... should have elect to shoot more.... some of the chances he pass it rather than shoot it...
9. hazard - same as mata...
10. oscar - the engine of the midfield... a good performance overall....
11. Torres - too much dribbling from the middle of the park... and he lost a straight race to the ball against Kompany (WTH was that? Kompany is back from injury right?) at this rate, i dun think he'll keep his place long if we are to buy another striker comes january. although improve attitude but still the same torres as last season... I dun see any improvement... could have past his prime if u ask me....
no going to comment on the subs as too little time to assess... well, just my humble opinion... KTBFFH!!!

well, RA is the boss.... he can do whatever he wants with the team.... but clearly relying on 1 true striker is not enough... especially an off form one... are we going to see neymar or falcao in chelsea blue? i personally prefer neymar compare to falcao...

QUOTE(JustForFun @ Nov 27 2012, 12:12 AM) Does he have that much time to research on the players? Oscar wasn't as hyped as Hazard for sure and for a businessman to have realised his talent doesn't sound logical. The point is that it's too naive to think you can win everything with only one great striker, never mind one who's lost his form since a season ago. Not a single top team in the world can challenge for multiple trophies with only one good striker, unless they have the player that goes by the name of Lionel Messi. and the team of Barcelona

Build from the back he said....
No win in 3 games, he didn't says
From here on it is the start of a roller coaster ride
Added on December 2, 2012, 1:53 amsuddenly i missed the possession football in the middle of the park of our team... seems like a wrong move releasing Meireles... he's really good in the last season.... now it seems the middle is soulless.... it's not like we have the fastest winger/wide player in the BPL... suddenly everything that wasn't supposed to be wrong just went from wrong to awry.... Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!! hate to see this winless streak....

Don't underestimate other teams in Europa League... we'll just have to play positive football like this morning then we'll be fine....
