i believe there is a need to have a focal point where the team is built upon. last time during JM era, the team is built around lampard and drogba. liverpool playing to the strength of gerrard and torres and same to most other clubs. this makes selecting tactics much easier.
in our current case, we got so many creative talent but the goals aren't coming. for me, i am not stopping other players to score goals. it will really helps the team. but the main man to score goals are? strikers are there for a reason. they are put upfront simply because they got the most killer instinct out of the other team mates. we can try put CECH as striker and he might end up being another defender to the other team simply because he is so familiar in the six yard box as a defender.
in the bpl top scorer table, from 1st to 10th place, all are strikers. this is their job. to finish the attacking move. last time torres did produce some assist. now?
Well said, comrade. So last night, Fulham was parking the bus at all time? Because I felt so depressed seeing how Chelsea got pacified haha.
Did we played much narrower? The pitch looks crampy.. and the endless backpasses were caused by the lack of space to get thru the bus?
