Thanks guys!

Moses goal = Drogba goal against Bayern, last UCL  hmm.gif

Not to take anything away from MOSES goal but DROGBA UCL final header are 10x harder to execute.

QUOTE(blueisthecolour @ Nov 8 2012, 11:39 PM)
i dun rly wanna criticize our players.

but.....

i feel torres is rly our weakest link. his inability to convert his chances leave the whole team in an awkward position at times this season.

from what i see, torres cant score goals = commit more bodies forward to try to nick a goal = easier to concede goals

Chances ? if there is chances then not so bad, basically now he only has luck tongue.gif

I still dun think he is the weakest link though.
we need a more solid defense at the back. as we already have a strong front.

He's not the weakest link, but he is a limiting factor in terms of attack.
But his style now kind of suits our attack, its just that he doesn't look comfortable with the ball. Like everytime he gets the ball and tries to dribble always kelam kabut one. If he can read the game better, hence make better decisions, he can create and link up with his teammates more fluidly,

For the first 20 minutes against Shaktar, Torres was pretty good. Then, the no-spirit mode turned on. I might sounds harsh, but I gotta say he's the weakest link in our attack. He's so weak, he fell down like he was pushed down by somebody from a high waterfall. We need a strong motivated striker to lead the line, not a child.

For the game against Liverpool, I want Sturridge to start.

Normally player will fire up when meet their old club icon_idea.gif

Though, that's not been the case in last few matches where Torres was invisible. LOL

Although we often see that 'revenge' statement, but Torres is weak in mentality, his confidence is low, he's too shy.
Sigh, I am a HUGE fan of Torres, but his recent performance really pulled my faith on him down.

Just one simple question, when's the last time we see Torres won a race chasing the ball with a centre back?
We often say Torres is good with through ball, but what he showed is not what we want.

He said: ‘I don’t see Mata,  Hazard or Oscar in my position. It would be good to play with those players, they are all on fire. I am a deeper midfielder, so that’s my favourite position, where Mikel, Lampard or Ramires play.

‘I’ve been there since I was seven and came through the youth system, so that is my dream club. That is who I want to play for, but this experience can only help me.’

That is if he is drop in the first place. Sad to say, i dont seen it gonna happen at least till a new striker comes in. At the moment, to me he is getting the preferential treatment, his current form by no means are better than STUR, but why STUR does not get the equal chance to shine ? If i am STUR i will be very frustrated, leaving for other club is the best option, if he is not given the chance to challenge a poor TORRES for 1st eleven, it will only be worse when a new striker arrive. LUKAKU make the right choice to go out on loan at WBA.

im not here to defend torres,, but the way hes getting the ball from the air and hold it is better than D23 did.
the problem is hes indecisive whether to shoot or to pass . Hes football IQ is getting low.

Agree, when ball arrive at TORRES leg, he will make a mess out of it then lose the ball.
