booked a myvi se 1.5 for my wife just because the sa provided good discount.

the sa recommends pro gard tint (use the tint voucher and need to topup a bit) but im still contemplating to use other tint. if i cant decide, just proceed with the free tint, then think about it later. pls advise on this.

and, anyone has install reverse camera with the standard myvi se screen? if yes can you please provide me which shop able to do this?

i have problem with the stock USB Multimedia player. it cant detect my 2 usb pendrive.

is there any requirement to make it work? example - put music/mp3 into root folder?

i put mp3s only into my 4gig pendrive and now it works! next will try to put some videos.

First service 1000km was done to the car and service cost was RM145.00.
Changed the engine oil, auto transmission oil?.. oil filter and windscreen washer. This is my first experience on changing the trans oil on first service.
never had that on my other car.

and seems like the FC is improving and last fill up was 30 litres and managed to get 459km per tank (best so far). overall the car is good and happy!

service breakdown details (rough figure):

Perodua Engine oil 4L Semi Syn API SL (i thought they shoud provide API SM) - RM75
Auto Transmission Oil - RM45
Battery Protector - RM4
Windshield washer - RM3
Drain Plug - RM 5
Tax 6%

ok thanks for the info. did they tell you that you should come back and change the auto trans oil? i feel that the transmission is smoother than before (new oil ma ) hehe

perodua should recalibrate the EPS steering system.

at stand still, the steering is heavy, between 20kmh to 50kmh, steering feels light, and above 50, feels heavy again.

You have to easy on ur throttle. Accelerate as linear as you can. And dont forget to reset fuel average consumption after fuel up.
Infkate your tyre pressure to 34psi front and back and it improves fc as well but u get harsher ride.

My best fc was 15km/l for 1.5auto and mileage just hit 1300km. It would be better figure as the mileage increases.

as for the range indicator, i always make it to 0, then i go petronas to fill up.

is it compulsory change the spark plug to Iridium type?

Finally manage to get 500km pertank.

16km/l . Not bad hah.

it was 60percent highway and the rest is city drive with jams.

Everyday i travel 130 km. Send my wife to her workplace and fetch her. The route is - Gombak - Shah Alam - Midvalley - Shah Alam - Gombak.

No mods done to the car. And surprisingly the Range indicator is quite accurate and i usually refuel when it indicates less than 5km. I fill up around 30 to 31.5 litres.

it is a myvi 1.5 SE Auto.

i was expecting to fill more than 36litres since i have used up until the range showing less than 10km (and sometimes shows - - - no value)
but then, i always refuel not more than 32 litres.
