I'm goin to get a myvi 1.3, but having a hard time choosing between manual or automatic transmission. Can anyone enlighten me?

Finally got mine.
1.3SXi MT Medallion Grey was wondering... is there any steering lock on the car? i tried turning the steering left and right but couldnt find it.  |

any idea what will cause the battery become weak? parked outside my office from morning till evening, and when i got in my car, i couldnt start it. i definitely confirmed i had all the lights switch off. izit battery problem?
