IMO dont fully trust the GPS (kinda stupid)

hi.. I submitted my loan application (graduation scheme) to SA for buying 1.3 SE  and pending to the result. Btw, SA offer me RM200 rebate, tint voucher, TnG card and smart tag, sterling lock, full tank & perfume.. is it worth? does anyone get better offer and mind to share?

As long as the HID is not fitted by the car manufacturer, it would be considered as illegal

road block issue, is very subjective

but one thing for sure, HID these days, there are just too many quality out there in the market , mostly are those " so so " quality

worry you will be even more trouble some just to get back to the shop to claim the faulty ballast or bulb

So far Myvi, if want something slightly whither than original , can consider Philips Crystal Vision, yellowish white, comes together with the small T 10 for your parking light, so you get a very very similar colour for your headlight and parking light bulb

Yes, but the Lokatoo GPS sucks lah. It keeps giving wrong directions and times - I compare it with my Papago. Is there some way to hack the Multimedia unit?

Agreed. If you aren't planning to change, it may be good enough but aftermarket head units seriously perform much better for the same amount you paid for.

Well for the parts that's eligible for certain parts like spark plug only dont expect they will give you irradium ya just normal spark plug.

I'm on Sierra Glow's coating as well, coincidentally. You will still need to care for your car's paint, although it is much more resilient to dirt adhering to the surface. I would still recommend a schedule of washing and waxing though.

Polishing is to remove visible and light scratches off the paint, not clean them. Everyone seems to get the purpose of polishing in car detailing wrong...

Exact steps are

Press footbrake -> shift to N -> pull handbrake -> lift footbrake -> make sure the car does not roll down -> press footbrake -> shift to P

This is to make sure it is the handbrake that is keeping your car from rolling, not the gearbox P gear.

If your P gear holds your car on a slope overnight instead of your handbrake, it may become difficult to shift out of P in the morning, or it shifts out with a sound. This is because your gearbox is keeping the car from moving, not your brakes.

It really depends on the wax you use - I'm on Optimum Car Wax which is a spray wax. It applies very easily, does not streak and does not require buffing. Of course, all applied by hand too. The only downside is the durability, about two weeks at most with constant bombardment of Malaysia's erratic weather. One thing I love about OCW is the UV protection it provides, a sure-need.

You can go for paste waxes, or the brands you can't find in Malaysia (such as Collinite 845) as they generally last longer but they require serious effort in applying, up to the point where you might need a DA, or you will have a very tired arm at the end of the day.

I generally prefer spray waxes, not only they are easier to apply (especially for hard to reach surfaces, like your door jambs, spoilers, door handles) but good for retopping up applications (eg. bird takes a crap, remove with cleaner, clean area, re-wax). I have a few cars inside and outside of the house so I have a good estimate on how long it lasts. A weekly wash and a bi-weekly wax will do good (or if you see the beading gone, whichever comes first.)

I waited a month for my white 1.5 manual - problem was due to stock issues. Not many people like manuals, they say.

Bro what status you are currently at? cause if you had already signed bank agreement and made full payment, it should be most likely settled in 1 week time. i got mine in exact 1 week time with mostly D.I.Y procedure. 

*P.S: 1 week time meant for from booking date until driving car back home.
