Seriously need help to disable the iPOS demo on my new dell inspiron 14r.
Just bought on sunday and booting for first time. After setting windows password and date/time, this thing Intel demo keep playing and I cant do anything else. Something like demo video.
When press esc, it need password to disable. Forgot password? Refer to iPOS documentation. But I dont find any kind of documentation in my box.
Anyone can help? Need to use pc now!

Inb4 call dell but inspiron only work 9am to 6pm for tech support

kill process, useful for me, but maybe is not the right solution for you, but for time being maybe u can just kill the demo task lol

my dell laptop also have bunch of preinstall software, lazy to research what software is that, and don't plan to uninstall it cuz afraid maybe the software will be useful in the future, so all i did was i create a dos batch script to kill all those useless process, if in the future want the software back, i just disable my kill task script

example of my dos script

taskkill /f /im SyncUP.exe
taskkill /im ARA.exe
taskkill /f /im StageRemote.exe
taskkill /f /im StageRemoteService.exe
taskkill /im Toaster.exe
taskkill /f /im DSUpd.exe
taskkill /im STService.exe

agree with this.
At least MSconfig is more intuitive than the command prompt.
If anything goes wrong (like windows cannot boot up properly if 1 of the startup program is disabled), there are "last good configuration" and "safemode" available.

So... I see you received the free ticket I sent you. I'm glad. I did so want you to be here. You see it doesn't matter if you catch me and send me back to the asylum...

Hi,
Also from Romania and also to say thank you for the password.
They update the password to 2015demo so try this one too. It worked for me.
Saved a trip to the store.

Regards
