Not the case.
Seiko is target at ppl buying swatch priced range watch.
Seiko prospect/brightz are more expensive than tissot
Grand seiko and credor cost more than tissot, the most expensive credor is at us$370k!

Swiss make is not always expensive look at kadloo or some brands listed on page 1 post 1

Swiss made is not 100% Swiss made
*
i already survey the Seiko and Tissot model i interested, the Seiko price is definitely lower than Tissot, both of them attracted my eyes, the thing i worry is the warranty issue as Seiko gives 1year but Tissot gives 2years warranty

If you're  looking for a daily practical watch... then get something with metal bracelet (leather after a while will break and smell)
*
metal watch not suite me because my hand size is small, leather watch suite me well

When I see something I really like a lot. I don't bother about the warranty. Not sure if that should be an example to live with. Haha

thinking about service it in the future lol

Short review of my new watch... well... not exactly new since it belongs to a family member.

Dial:
I like the applied indices the most, as it turns between shades of silver to black in different lighting conditions. The dial itself while a little busy for my liking, is actually quite legible as the shocking red hands provides excellent contrast and adds to a sporty persona

Case:
The daring yellow (a shade lighter than Yohan Blake's controversial Richard Mille) non-metallic synthetic material works wonders for shock protection at situations that'll make a Rolex cry like a baby. I've accidently dropped it at least 3 feet onto wood floor with no problems at all.

Movement:
Excellent accuracy (no long term testing but didn't see any deviations in 24 hour) so far since its quartz though I suspect its not thermo compensated HE quartz. Was curious to pop open the case back but I didn't wanna ruin the hologram caseback sticker.

Only question is... Do you guys think its too small for my wrist?

Ddnt know there's a watch thread. watch lover and start with cheap casios, especially G-Shocks and still own a few.

then make my first luxury watch purchase with Ball Fireman Racer (and still deciding to keep or sell due to reason below)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

next, bought Omega Seamaster Racing Chrono Titanium (what a name..) but sold it for profit as I dont really like the size and thickness.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

got another Omega, Seamaster Pro quartz midsize. Got it at really good price and love the weight and feel on wrist but think it's too "small". End up on my gf's wrist cuz look good on her with tan leather strap  blush.gif

and finally, my latest grail which kicked my Ball out of rotation (no pun intended). Rolex Submariner Ceramic with Date  wub.gif This watch probably will be with me for quite some time unless I tried on Fifty Fathoms and like it more instead lol.
Look superb on all occasion and very comfortable
[attachmentid=3375691]

good thing bout Singapore is there's big market for luxury watch. Boutique stores everywhere. In mrt or bus, can easily spot highend watches on uncles or expats' wrist. Fake or real not sure. Personally tried Vacheron Constantine series, AP Royal Oak (love the design and comfort but overpriced imho), Blancpain, PAM, etc but mostly dont sing with me.

nice Ball watch, i will be interested if u plan to let go smile.gif
