Hi guys, for Seamaster and Nomos in same price range.
Which will you choose?

But if compare Tissot and Nomos (which is double to triple the price of Tissot) which one you will choose?
Actually both seems very light weight and a bit fragile.. If compare with Seamaster.

Which Seamaster?

No many talk about jap movement on the seiko thread.
Looks like its more looks than movement.

Since we're in the topic and I've already googled but I still can't understand why 6S28 in the Ananta Brightz chrono is more expensive than the supposedly newer and "better" 8R28 versions.

Only difference I can tell is the 6s28 cos can see the pillar wheel from the display caseback tongue.gif

The balance spring regulator on the 6S28 and 8R28 are different too. Just by comparing both and noting the difference you would probably guess which movement is more expensive without knowing the price before hand.
*
Didn't notice that...why then the hoohah over the 8R28?

---------------------------------------------

On another note... on this today. Probably needs some new shoes for variety

Hoohah? I don't understand what you are trying to say....
Anyway,
IIANM, 6SXX movements are JDM while 8R28 is available in selected markets worldwide.
I like the 6S37 and the Credor variant 6S77. SBDS001 is in my wishlist.
2 8R28 LE models are available in Malaysia imported by Thong Sia.
SRQ001 and SRQ007

Nah, you need another Rolex.....
How about a Daytona?

OK.. I think I got what you mean. Thanks.

How is Seiko divers compare with the Seamasters in term of the watch quality itself alone.
*
It's like comparing apples and durians here as the Seamaster (you still haven't stated which) cost more than 17x the price of the SKX.

If you are talking generally of microbrands, usually they are value for money because they only sell online and cut off middleman cost.

In regards to Magrette, though in first glance they look quite similar with Anonimo, but they are do have their own identity. Check out their models with engraving, damn nice!
*
Magrette, Damasko aside (yeah.. those engraved models look sweet)... which other micros that you think have their own identity?
Genuinely trying to understand here. smile.gif

halo guys, a noob question here

orient (not orient star) the watch good?
QUOTE
oh duno le. my fren say not good the watch

Your post is hardly conducive for discussion as well. tongue.gif

It's a overall generalization without stating the model nor what is it compared to.

My 2 cents is that orient has a few interesting models like their dress watches, the mako, the 469 anniversary model etc but there's always some element of the design that irks me.
