2000+ yen doesn't buy you a MG anymore. MG thesedays costs 3k~4k+ yen. Unless they're smaller units like The Ball.
*
oh yea, my mistake sweat.gif
means that MG IJ will never come out? cry.gif

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Apr 5 2006, 09:34 AM)
meanwhile.... the nightmare is true... OMG... they've ruined the series and now they plan to ruin the 1/100 line as well?? shocking.gif
*
what ruin? I want the 1/100 version of IJ thumbup.gif

I need some help from you guys...I'm fixing up my Freedom MG and I think there's a problem with the shoulder area. There seems to be a gap at the 'armpits' area. See the picture below...

This is the problem I'm having...the shoulder is 'jutting out'  sad.gif

it may sound obvious, but try pushing in the arms all the way.
if cannot, make sure its the correct polycap inside the upper arm.
if its the correct polycap, you can trim the insides of the polycap a bit using knife/file or whatever

done all except the last...

Is it really THAT HARD to buy a model kit that you like the most?

The 1/144 SEED line are made of meh and mediocre. They're all the same, with the same kind of quality, never heard of any complaints about loose parts and whatnot.
The GSD 1/100 line was already ruined from the start, what with the uninteresting lineup (Bandai: WHOAMG WE HAVE 4 EXCITING ZAKU UNITS THAT ARE ESSENTIALLY THE SAME THING ONLY WITH DIFFERENT COLORED TREES!), and the lack of kits for superior designed units like the Windam and Blast Impulse.
*
dun be like that. Some people are just cautious when deciding. Like me laugh.gif My friend on the other hand always rush his decision and I laugh when he makes a mistake (which happens 70%) of the time cool.gif

I'm not sure about Windam, but Blast Impulse was used only...twice? in the show...maybe that's why they don't wanna focus on the kit. Might not bring as much profit as the others. Remember, all companies focus on profit. Nothing else...

And...Asuran, Yzak and Dearka all used Zaku units till the end. Probably that's why there are so many Zaku around in GSD whistling.gif

OMFG...StarGhazzer~!! How big is that ExS? Looks like a 1/20 or something shocking.gif

plastic crap or not...you said it yourself...overcharged plastic models...inflasi zero man thumbup.gif

oh wait, you're probably too rich to bother doh.gif

and I'm saying Zaku in general term ler sweat.gif dun have to be so specific like Zaku 1, Zaku 2, Zaku with a cowboy hat. In this case you're wrong too. Yzak is using Slash Zaku Phantom...not Zaku Phantom laugh.gif dunno what is Dearka using...forgotten

EDIT: WTF?! on HLJ it says that Strike Rogue IWSP has been discontinued. so do u think young_soul can find it?
*
I'm guessing discontinued only means they stopped production. My friend wanted a Wing Gundam Endless Waltz Custom MG...HLJ.com discontinued, but I still found them at the shops. So, like I said...you cannot use these sites other than to browse for what's in the market. Use it like a catalogue, don't see any other detail except maybe the size, weight, and release date.

First day progress:

Torso took me 2 hours to build. >_<

The head took me another hour. sweat.gif I did MINIMAL panel lining cause I didn't wanna end up with super thick lines ala Dalong.net. laugh.gif

Finished work (3 hours):

When I was applying the sticker on the lower torso, I accidentally scratched the surface while trying to press it down. Now small lines can be visibly seen. cry.gif

Continued later tonight. biggrin.gif
*
I did not use the Gundam Marker Remover on my first "test" NG Saviour. Made tons of mistakes. I got the marker remover for my Freedom MG and it works wonders thumbup.gif

Btw, Dalong.net simply do wan lar...that's why got thick lines sweat.gif

Yo man, i went to Sg Wang yesterday, but did not really see any shops selling Gundam Kits. Mind to tell me where is the location?

Went to the shops in Low Yat Plaza as well, some of the kits they r selling r quite cheap, even newer models like MG Freedom r going for RM155 n MG Wing Zero Custom for RM153.
*
shocking.gif Last I check it was RM175...and that was Sungei Wang. Low Yat was worse...

*
They only appeared in Gundam Seed Astray. Like a sidestory of Gundam Seed. Later there's gonna be another sidestory like Gundam Seed Astray...featuring the modified version of Strike Gundam. Called Stargazer or something. Can't wait for it drool.gif

Even though its a HG, its still a 1/144. I rather wait for the 1/100. 1/144 kits are too small for me tongue.gif
