Thanks. I was also thinking of moving back to ARHD.

Guess what:

Wipe data, cache and dalvik (didn't want to backup as I not going back to HyperNote anytime soon)
Prepare to install....then realized that I left ARHD file at home

In regards to your question, yes no Radio nothing from Samsung. You just need to find the flashable zip and flash it and you have them back. A bit leceh but if you are hardworking, you can mod the rom to have everything that you want only.

Try NFC Task Launcher . You need to get some writable NFC tags.

You phone can detect passport, mykad, touchngo card, Rapid KL token, Mastercard Paypass but cannot write on any of them.

NFC Retag or Anytag NFC Launcher are useful in this case.

sorry, to be precise, actually it's the touchngo chip in mykad that can be detected.
most probably your mykad do not have touchngo?

I tried it on my passport and IC, just hear a beeping sound, nothing was displayed.

actually, i was pretty much confused between the debate of using or not using SP for Note 2

but end up putting on the SP just for protection

Please download NFC Tag Info app, at least you can read some info out of them.

Now, about the passport, this is interesting. I never try this as I do not have the newer eMRTD passport, the older ones are not readable.

Try use the app above and see if you can read out passport info. You might have to key in basic info like passport number, birth date, passport expiry date.

Dun use the calculator app for note2 because it will calculate wrong for u. Try this if u dun believe. 100-10% will give u answer 99.9 instead of 90.
