Hi all, I use Mobile version to browse LYN quite a lot, but I find the font was too small. The font size for my browser setting is ok for other sites, but it seems LYN just doesn't make the font any larger. Is there any setting page that I can change the font size? I tried go to Board Setting page but I can't find it. Thank you in advance!

QUOTE(wKkaY @ Nov 2 2012, 09:12 PM) What phone & OS version are you using? Hi wKkaY, thanks for replying, I'm on Android (Galaxy S3). By changing browser text to Large, I can see larger text for other sites, but LYN just remain the same tiny text size. Is there a hidden setting in LYN that could me the default display text larger?

Try this - pinch zoom in until the text is the desired size, then double tap somewhere on the text.

Pinch to zoomed in ok, but when double-tap, it zoom out again... Anyway, I use Google Chrome browser and it seems to be better than the phone's stock original browser. Thanks for your help and I'm sorry if I am confusing you.

After 2 years, this problem is still not yet solved. The text size of this forum is very tiny on my Nexus 9 tablet. Increasing the text size in the device general settings or in the browser itself both not helping to solve the problem. The text size is also very inconsistent, in terms of the headers vs forum topics, and also Original post vs subsequent posts in a thread. Viewing in both Mobile & Desktop versions still tiny text size. Using Chrome: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Using Firefox: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « No such issues browsing other forums or websites. Just LYN forum. Please solve. This post has been edited by VoiVod: Nov 22 2014, 03:02 PM

k im bored here. but i'm guessing its a combination of browser issue and phone font size issue. using 2 browsers here, firefox and opera mini...both on the largest font size possible. this is firefox on desktop mode, can see some text didnt enlarge properly.
this is on mobile mode, very much readable.
and on opera mini, also very readable...but usually my font size will be set on medium here as large is too big.
phone used is LG G Pro 2.

QUOTE(goldfries @ Dec 9 2014, 12:58 PM) I see the font problem on desktop mode. Desktop mode is almost unusable for me. Slightly better on mobile mode but still very disappointed. I hope LYN can solve this issue. QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Dec 10 2014, 12:19 PM) same problem. which is why i stop using chrome, now im using boat browser. if u r on android check it out. it works perfectly! On android almost every other browser is slower than chrome, that is why I keep coming back to chrome. The only reason I sometimes use firefox is because of the adblock extension. It's frustrating that LYN which prides itself on the large tech community still have problems on its own forums.

UPDATE; No problem with too-small text size with tablet in Landscape mode, but got this problem in Portrait mode. Solution is to use tablet in Landscape mode when visiting this forum. IOW, this forum is optimized for the smallish smartphones(= mobile web-page mode) and biggish computers(= desktop web-page mode) only, not for the middish mobile tablets. .
