Recently i have attend an interview session in Eastern Decorator Sdn Bhd.

They found my contact number via jobstreet and ask me to attend an interview session. When i ask for more information on phone about the job and the contact person told me that they offer multiple job and want me to attend the interview first and further discuss during interview.

When i attend the interview in this company, the first bad impression, the receptionist have no information/record about candidate that need to attend interview, after the receptionist make few calls and told me that the interviewer was on MC. After that, the receptionist call me to wait in a "sauna room" that without any fan/air-con to fill up the interview form.
After wait for about 10 minutes, an interviewer come and bring me to another room

The second bad impression, The interview session start without any self-introduction, until the end of interview, i still don't know who is the person and properly the interviewer have no idea who i am as well.

The third bad impression, after the interviewer read through my resume, she mentioned that there is no suitable job that suit to my skills because I am a programmer(software based), and the major role of their IT executive is more on hardware based such as fixing computer and etc. And the interview session just last for about 10 mins

As a conclusion, the purpose of this interview just tell me that "there is no suitable job for you at the moment, and you may leave now". When i walk out from the building, i feels embarrassed and the feeling just like i come beg for a job at end up by nothing.

WTF, before the HR call me to attend interview, suppose they should review my resume first, if i am shortlisted, then invite me for an interview session.
Their HR simply find any candidate and ask to attend interview and review the candidate DURING interview session.
So my advice is, for those to attend interview for this company, better ask them to provide the job details and ask them to explain more on phone before go for interview. Good luck.

Apparently, HR department not doing their job properly and Manager/interviewer was very rude. I just met someone like this at other company several days ago. it just pissed me off

Why would you be interested in an IT job at a company called "Eastern Decorator"?

Well... in that case, beggars can't be choosy. And they certainly can't complain.

Well its a shame, that whole interview process was a failure and silly. I can only imagine how the rest of the organization is run, maybe its a blessing in disguised that you didnt join.

My 2 cents worth

I have similar bad interview experiences as yours too. Both are in Dasar Jati Sdn Bhd and MMSC Sdn Bhd.

But only this time, the interviewers doesn't smile back at all and always gave me that 'bad-ass' and 'tough-guy' look.

10 minutes only? Waste of time and not professional at all. HR is not doing their job properly, interviewer not doing properly also. Even if you managed to go in, I don't think the remuneration is good also.
